Relax in peaceful surroundings in our Private Retreat and Park Living Space, set on almost 2 acres with over 2 acres of Park Reserve, amongst the gums, gardens, natural fauna, wallabies and birdlife, also seek the koala's only 30 mins from Brisbane, Gold Coast and the clean fresh air of Tamborine Mountains. After a long day out you can sit and enjoy a cold drink or coffee and unwind amongst the beautiful gardens or in front of the fire pit on cold winter nights under the starry sky. You can relax and enjoy in the comfort of this private, fully self-contained and security screened Retreat, with your own private driveway parking. The home has excellent views from all windows into the gardens and surrounding fauna and flora. Our landscaped gardens give you the peace and tranquility to unwind, and the open decks the visual experience of the gums and wildlife. This is the ideal getaway for you to unwind for that relaxing, peaceful and picturesque experience. This property includes 2 bedrooms including 3 large comfortable queen size beds, with air-conditioning/ceiling fans and an additional sofa in the living area, which can be utilised as a fourth bed. Baby cot is also available if needed. The lounge, dining and kitchen area is open plan living, with a ceiling fan for your comfort, excellent ventilation is also supported from the large windows and sliding doors on all sides of the home, and the high internal raked ceilings. For your evening entertainment we have a large TV & DVD player, with dvd’s provided as required, enjoy all this in the comfortable lounge/family area. You have the following appliances available in the kitchen - microwave, convection-oven, electric frypan, toaster, fridge, electric kettle for tea and coffee making with a plunger, and a generous supply of ground coffee for your comfort. Bathroom includes spacious shower area and toilet with all condiments including hair-drying facility. Our language is English and for those travellers from Europe we have a healthy understanding of the German language. This is an excellent base to explore the surrounding districts – Brisbane, Gold Coast, Tamborine Mountain and the Scenic Rim. BBQ facility is included to provide the outdoor experience, sitting on the large open deck and undercover patios taking in the peaceful and serene nature and landscaped gardens. Why not take a stroll around the gardens, feed the birds or just sit and relax with that glass of red or white wine. Maybe you want to drive some golf balls around the park or the kids may want to ride a bike. For that cosy atmosphere on a cool evening enjoy the outdoor fireplace. To keep in touch with family and friends - free Wi-Fi is available. Helen & Doug live on the property, our home is 20m away separated by a decked stairway and gardens - far enough away for your own privacy and close enough if you need directions or want advice on the surrounding districts - feel free to come and talk to us. Our neighbourhood comprises exclusive residential acreage homesites with natural Park Space living. 30 minutes to Tamborine Mountains - visit the street markets, wineries, enjoy Australian/European/Asian cuisine and breathtaking views. A short drive to Springbrook and see the beautiful Purlingbook Falls and Natural Arch. 30 minutes to Brisbane, visit the layback capital city of Queensland, visit South Bank Parklands, Museums or the Botanical Gardens. 30 minutes to the Gold Coast to world-renowned beaches of Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Burleigh Heads to name just a few, maybe the night-life and evening entertainment is your goal. 15 minutes to Dreamworld, Movieworld and other theme parks for you or all the family to enjoy. Maybe you just want a romantic dining experience – visit Sanctuary Cove 25 minutes drive towards the Gold Coast – try the excellent seafood at Georges Paragon with their all day half price dining. 5 minutes to Beenleigh rail/bus station, with express train services to the Gold Coast and the Brisbane City Centre – if you need a pick up from the station we will be happy to oblige if suitable, alternatively there is a taxi service from the station. The MI highway is a short 5 minute drive. Drive 3 minutes to an IGA Store for any necessary supplies, and 2 minutes to fuel, another 3 minutes to a Coles Supermarket. Benefits. The price is very competitive, and there is only a small charge for cleaning so when ending you stay please put all rubbish in the supplied black bin. As mentioned the Wi-Fi service is included. Coffee/tea and some thoughtful essentials are provided also basic toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). Sleeping availability for maximum 7, 24 hour access – with keys supplied. Heater/extra blankets supplied if needed.
