Luxury 3 bed apartment in Soldeu. Sleeps up to 9. 6 mins walk from Gondola station. The pin location on AirBnb is inaccurate, the apartment has direct access to the CG2 road and is not down in the lower La Pleta area so no long walk. The apartment is first & foremost our family holiday home so all appliances & furnishings are to the highest of standards & there is everything you need to ensure your holiday is perfect. The 3 bedrooms comprise of 2 double beds with the 3rd room having bunk beds & a single. There is a large comfortable bed settee in the lounge area so the apartment can sleep up to a maximum of 9 if required. There is also a private underground garage providing secure parking for your vehicle. There is FREE WIFI, Sound System with Ipod / MP3 connectivity, Smart TV & Blueray / DVD player, all modern day essentials where teenage children are involved! There is also a large selection of DVD’s, CD’s & family games for your use. There are excellent restaurants in the village but we’ve found catering in the apartment suits our family better & there are all the cooking utensils you need. Appliances include cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & ironing board, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, hairdryer & both UK & European extension sockets which provide plenty of charging points. There is both a coffee filter machine and a Krups Dolce Gusto pod machine. The pods are sold in the village but it is more cost effective to bring the pods with you. The views from the large balcony are magnificent and in the summer provides excellent sunbathing and BBQ facilities which are provided. The skiing, ski school, bars & restaurants are all excellent as is the mountain biking, walks & many other summer activities. There are also 2 excellent Health Spas in Piolets Spa & the Sports Wellness. These are all the reasons that after many years of skiing & walking in many different places we decided to buy this apartment in Soldeu. The friendly, safe environment has proved to be perfect for our family & I cannot recommend the location or indeed our apartment enough. This is our holiday home so lots of spices & stocks are in the cupboards that you are welcome to use. The Kitchen provides everything you need from granite work tops, lots of utensils, pots & pans & all the appliances you could want including cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, iron & ironing board, microwave, kettle, toaster & hairdryer. FREE Wifi with Smart TV, Blueray/DVD player, Sound System with Ipod / MP3 connectivity. A large selection of DVD’s & CD’s are in the apartment for your use. There are lots of multiblock plug extensions (European & UK) which provide plenty of charging points for devices. Towels & Linen are of course provided. The apartment will be heated for your arrival and there is excellent central heating throughout. The apartment is no smoking but the lounge opens on to the large balcony / patio area where you are welcome to indulge. Detailed walking maps, activity ideas and all manner of guides to Andorra are provided in the apartment. The large balcony /patio area is a real sun trap and in the summer is ideal for sunbathing and BBQ’s in the afternoons. There is a BBQ provided with all the usual required utensils as well a table, chairs and sunbed. The bars and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk away, close enough to stagger home after the excesses of apres ski but far enough away to avoid any unwanted noise. Soldeu is a small, safe and friendly village and is the perfect location for a family ski or summer activity holiday. There is underground secure parking for your vehicle. The apartment is looked after by a resident who can also arrange discounted ski passes, equipment and lessons. We have someone who looks after the apartment in our absence. Andorra is so picturesque whether it is Summer sun or Winter ski. It is renowned for a long ski season. The mountains are fabulous for easy to hard walks to trekking and mountain biking. There are plenty of restaurants/ bars and 2 spa hotels in the village. In Andorra La Vella, there is one of the biggest and best spas in Europe called Caldea, which can be booked locally. Andorra La Vella has great shopping which is tax free!! The village is a friendly place with lots of restaurants and bars. The ski is second to none with the best of ski schools and is very child friendly. We have been going for 16 years and the ski scene, we think, has become the best over that time. Fly to Toulouse/Perpignon/Carcassone/Barcelona or Girona - all have hire car available and/or bus transfers to Soldeu La Seu, just over the border into Spain is fabulous with water sports such as white water rafting/kayaking and water skiing. The river/reservoir/dam is a sight to behold!
