Charming house located in Maintenon, close to shops and the train station (45 minutes from Paris Montparnasse - 35 'from Versailles - 20' from Rambouillet and Chartres) quiet You will find many activities nearby: * the castle of Madame de Maintenon * the golf of Maintenon * the cathedral of Chartres (20 min) * the forest and the castle of Rambouillet (30 min) * the Basilica of Dreux (20 min) * the royal château in Versailles (40 min) Large kitchen and large garden (with swing & trampoline) You will enjoy - the charm of the 1750 house, with its half-timbering and exposed beams - spacious rooms - large garden with swings and trampoline The house will be privatized. You will have access to - the spacious kitchen, - the big living-room, - the rooms, - and the large garden. We will be in a small neighboring house whose large garden is shared with the rented house. We will welcome you to give you the keys and introduce you to the house. Of course, we will not disturb you during your stay but we will be at your disposal in case of need. The neighborhood is very quiet. The town center of Maintenon with its castle and shops are 3 minutes walk. The golf of Maintenon is 1 km away. The house is located 10 minutes walk and 2 minutes by car from the station of Maintenon which brings in 45 minutes to the station of Paris Montparnasse, in 30 minutes to the station of Versailles, in 20 minutes to the station of Rambouillet and in 10 min to Chartres station. In order to preserve our neighborhood, we do not accept the group wishing to "party". If you prefer, we can provide you sheets and towels for 7€ / person for the stay (beds not made on arrival), 10€ / person for the stay (beds made on arrival). The heating is on in the house from mid-October to mid-March. If you find it necessary to have it outside of these periods, please contact us in advance so that we can be organized accordingly. The heating can never be turned on on demand for the same day.
