Bike availeble (extra) and needs to be reserved. Our monumental mansion (anno 1878) / is located in the heart of the city. In the Attic Room 'Aan de Gracht' you can enjoy the peace and space in a monumental urban ambiance in the middle of the Gelderse valley and look out over the park and the floodplains! You will enjoy my place because of the atmosphere, the space, the light, the comfortable bed and the neighborhood. My space is suitable for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. The guesthouse is ideal for a stay of a few weeks. You can use a fully equipped kitchen. Privately. In principle you have little interaction with the other residents. We are available for all questions! Nearby are many shops and restaurants with a varied selection and also a star restaurant within walking distance. Really close to the floodplains of the Lower Rhine. Many (water) sports, walking or cycling opportunities. Bicycles are available and you park them in front of the door. Paid (car) parking nearby Monday through Saturday during business hours. Free (car) parking 400 meters away. Like many houses build in the 19th century there is steep stairs to go up. In de Beautiful Room 'Aan de Gracht 'kunt u genieten van de rust en ruimte in een monumentale stedelijke ambiance midden in de Gelderse vallei en kijkt uit over het park en de uiterwaarden! Je zult genieten van mijn plek vanwege de sfeer, de ruimte, het licht, het comfortabele bed en de buurt. Mijn ruimte is geschikt voor stellen, solo-avonturiers en zakelijke reizigers. Het gastenverblijf uitermate geschikt voor een verblijf van enkele weken. U kunt gebruik maken van een compleet ingerichte keuken. Privé. In principe heb je weinig interactie met de andere bewoners. We zijn beschikbaar voor alle vragen! Vlakbij zijn veel winkels en restaurants met een gevarieerd aanbod en ook een sterrestaurant op loopafstand. Ook echt vlakbij de uiterwaarden van de Neder Rijn. Veel (water) sport, wandel of fiets mogelijkheden. Fietsen beschikbaar en die parkeer je voor de deur. Betaald (auto) parkeren vlakbij maandag t/m zaterdag tijdens winkeluren. Gratis (auto) parkeren op 400 meter afstand. You have access to your room but also to the super large beautiful living room / kitchen. If you bring your own bike , be aware that there is no bike shelter. Bikes stay in front of the house outside. I'm availeble for all questions! Most of my guests stay a long time. You might find them during lunch or diner. In the cozy old city center! Wageningen received city rights in the year 1263. Old houses, characteristic buildings, and narrow friendly streets define the scene. More on the town’s history can be found in the museum "De Casteelse Poort". Wageningen is a university city with the atmosphere typical to university cities the world over. This manifests itself in its bustling nightlife, student society activities and the various festivals organised during the summer months.Wageningen is also known for its important role during the Second World War. In May 1945, the German capitulation was signed in hotel "De Wereld". In springtime, it’s especially enjoyable to visit the two botanical gardens in Wageningen. The "Wageningse Berg" offers a beautiful view of the river Rhine (Rijn) and its wetlands. By train from Amsterdam Schiphol airport: Trains every 15 minutes direction Utrecht-Nijmegen. Get of at trainstation Ede-Wageningen. Train ride approx 60 minutes. Than by light blue bus from the train station to Wageningen bus station. Bus ride aproximately 15 minutes. Than by foot from the bus station to my house, about a 5 minute walk. We all help to take out the trash to the outdour containers. The containers are about 50 m from the front door. There is cleanining once a week in the shared kitchen/living and the shared bathroom.
