Comfortable and warm modern townhouse located just 2.8 miles from the beautiful historic York City centre and close access to the ring road to access surrounding areas. Ideal for couples, friends and families of three for quick city breaks or alternatively for longer term bookings. This room also comes with an additional double bed for larger bookings. Private bathroom including toilet, bath and shower. ON THE GROUND FLOOR Shared kitchen with access to tea and coffee. You may cook in the kitchen if you wish and we will keep the bottom shelf of the fridge available to you. PARKING The parking is on street, there is always plenty available along the side of the house. We are two working professionals so will generally be out of the house throughout the day time and in at night. Will always be contactable by phone, email or text with any queries you may have. Of course while we are in we are pleased to deal with queries/ offer advice. The house is located in a quiet safe neighbourhood. York City centre is 2.8 miles away and easily accessible. A regular Park&Ride bus service is less than a 10 minute walk away (7am-8pm except 6pm Sundays): £2.90 return Uber to city centre: ~£7-12 Local taxi firm: ~£10-14 TOP TIP: Parking is expensive in the day time in York City centre (£3-4 per hour). However from 6pm parking is reduced to £2 until midnight. CHECKING IN We send check in instructions ~48hours prior to your day of arrival which includes information on how to find the house, how to access your rooms, house rules, internet passcode etc We will leave a key in a key safe for you to access the property which means you can arrive when you please and don’t have to rush if you are delayed. Of corse if we are in when you arrive we will come and say hi :-)
