Spacious self-contained bayside apartment in quiet location with beautiful views over Malabar Bay, Malabar Headland and across to Maroubra. 5 minute walk to the nearest golf course. Ocean pool just a 5 minute walk away & 10 minutes walk to the beach. New headland walk from Malabar beach to Maroubra which has spectacular ocean views. Also 10 minute drive to La Perouse National Park. Spacious living area with well equipped kitchen, large bedroom with queen size bed and large built-in wardrobe, modern bathroom, and your own washing machine. Just a 5 minute walk to the city bus, close to Maroubra and Coogee beaches, and 14 km to airport. We are in a quiet location within walking distance to cafes, restaurants parks, and fabulous golf clubs. Malabar is a coastal suburb situated around Long Bay. Malabar is mostly residential, but with large plots of land devoted to the Randwick Golf Course,and parks. A small group of shops is located at Prince Edward Street, close to the intersection with Anzac Parade. You can be completely private, but we are close by for any information or assistance you may need. Check-in and out times are flexible depending on whether guests are coming and going on same day. Please note although there is an extra single bed (extra person after 1 guest $30) which can either be up in the living area or in the bedroom. Only suitable for a couple for extended stay. It is generally not suitable for children under 5 due to stairs, and balcony, so best to check with us beforehand. $700 weekly $1300 fortnightly $2500 monthly One night stays available from March 26th to 30th ***Minimum booking for period May 19th to August 6th 2019 is 1 week.* ** Apartment is fully self-contained. If guests want to use the bbq they are most welcome. Help yourselves to any of the herbs and fruit from the garden. We live downstairs. Guests are welcome to knock on the interconnected door at any time for information or a chat. However guests can be completely private as they have their own separate side entrance. The neighbourhood is quiet as house is in a residential street. As the bay is quite small, there are never large crowds using the beach. The golf course & club are very picturesque being on the ocean front. The ocean pool is very popular with guests and with ourselves as it is 5 minutes walk so no need to take anything with you but your towel, keys and sunscreen. Nearest eating and drinking venues are the Leagues club which also provides reasonably priced and varied meals. The golf club is more expensive but still good value. There is also a Chinese restaurant and fast food places within a 10 minute walk and some excellent cafés especially the Heritage and Beach Cafés. La Perouse, Little Bay, Yarra Bay and Maroubra are 10 minutes drive away and have a good selection of cuisines. Bus to city within 5 minute walk. Larger selection of buses 10 minutes walk. No on site parking but plenty of free street parking. Taxi from the airport takes about 20 mins and costs $40-$50 or many people use Uber. If you are a golfer, this is golfer heaven with several golf courses close by. Nearest is 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
