Nestled in the Catskill Mountains, East Durham is the perfect upstate escape! There are entertainment options galore with Howe Caverns, Zoom Flume, Windham Mountain, and North Lake all nearby. Brewery and antiquing opportunities abound. Spend quality moments with friends and family at this charming cottage complete with a full kitchen, comfortable furnishings, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Located in the heart of town, the general store and several restaurants are within walking distance. This is a simple, clean, and homey 2-bed, 2-bath cottage. Bathrooms and kitchen have been recently updated. All basic necessities are provided. There is no TV, however, high-speed wifi is included with the rental. Please bring a device to stream if your plans involve movies or TV. Guests have access to two parking spots on the property, immediately outside the main entrance of the cottage. East Durham is a small town in upstate NY known as a hub of Irish Culture. There are several resorts in town that feature live Irish (and other) music in the evenings. The cottage is 13 miles from Windham Mountain. You have day trip options of seeing Cooperstown, Hudson, Rhinebeck, and many charming sights to see in the Catskill Mountains. The cottage is on the corner of two main roads, so you will hear traffic. If you are sensitive to sounds this might not be the right place for you. You are in the country as well: there are garden snakes and chipmunks on the property. You may encounter a spider, wasp, or cricket. This is all part of the country charm.
