Luxury cosy lodge in the hills of North Wales
A cute, cosy cottage. Nestled in a beautiful rural location and set within the grounds of our small holding. Off the beaten track yet within easy reach of everything on offer in North Wales. The open plan space has a log burner and a lovely kitchen. Outside there is a country garden full of flowers, your private garden space is not overlooked and has a hot tub of your own to enjoy. Listen to the birdsong, the resident owl, enjoy the outdoors and uninterrupted night skies. We want to invite you to enjoy the beauty of the beautiful Welsh hills. So, over winter we have compiled a list of special walks we know and love to share with our guests. There are maps and routes in the lodge to help you make the most of your stay. In the evening enjoy the garden and stars! We supply warm robes to wrap up in on your way to the hot tub too. We supply some logs to get you going, both indoor for the log burner and outside for the fire pit! One of the highlights of your stay will be the garden. It is simply tumbling with flowers, birds, bees and rabbits. Our space is very private, away from main roads and light pollution, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You will enjoy your own garden at the front of the cottage for your sole use. We have a hot tub available for your enjoyment, included in your booking. We are a small scale country garden flower farm and offer outdoor experiences too. In addition to your own garden area you will share around an acre of grounds with your friendly, hospitable hosts Ray and Michelle. We live on site. We also have another space for guests available within the grounds. We have busy days as we work towards our dream of a self-sufficient lifestyle, but are on hand to help make your stay as comfortable as we can. If you like we can tell you about our journey so far. Look out for our AirBnB experiences too! Our village of Llanarmon-yn-Ial is a real gem. We are lucky to have a community run pub and shop, we are a short distance from Llandegla mountain biking hub, and the historic towns of Ruthin and Mold. Set amongst hills and forests you are on the footstep of some of the best views, hikes and bike rides the country has to offer. Whilst being about half an hour from the coast or Chester, and an hour from Snowdonia or the cities of Liverpool and Manchester We can share of knowledge of local walking routes and also offer guided walks to the public. You will be close to Offa's Dyke, the Clwydian range of hills, including Moel Famau and some rewarding cycle routes. Your hosts are happy to help you plan your itinerary :) One small well behaved dog can be accommodated. In addition to the main double bed there is a small double sofa bed which can hold two children or one adult comfortably.
