The house is only 15 minutes from Hervey Bay where whale watching and day tours to Fraser Island a MUST! Ferries leave from Hervey Bay. For guests convenience Toogoom has 2 restaurants, a grocery/take-away store, chemist and hair salon. All linen, doonas and towels provided for our guests. Guests can access all areas of the house. Our friendly neighbours Raul and Eva will be there to greet guests on arrival and respond to any queries during their stay. Raul can be contacted for any home maintenance repairs. Toogoom is a tranquil seaside village. The village enjoys a subtropical climate with beautiful weather all year round. As a coastal region and close proximity to the water, locals and visitors enjoy beautiful sea breezes. With the pleasant climate, guests can partake in many outdoor activities abundant in Toogoom. A bus service runs daily to Hervey Bay and can be caught right outside the house. Bike riding and long strolls along the beach is however, encouraged!
