The Ridgeway Lodge close to Ivinghoe Beacon

Our house is adjacent to the lodge so we are normally around to advise on walks / mountain bike routes, and help you check in. We are close to Ivinghoe Beacon, (Ridgeway walk), Whipsnade Zoo, and Tring museum. Bletchley Park, Harry Potter Studios and Waddesden Manor are 30 mins away. The Lodge is ideal as temporary residence between house moves etc. Discount avail. We can pick you up from Tring Station. The Lodge was completed in January 2020 to a high specification with Infrared heating and direct pressure hot water system for a great shower. There is a large wall mounted TV with Netflix and BBC iplayer. Also wi-fi and an Alexa device. The fully equipped kitchen has Microwave, Oven, Hob, Dishwasher, Fridge and a Nespresso machine and we can lend you other items as required. There is a washing machine and drier in the boot room for your use. The Breakfast table seats 4. The bedroom has an en-suite and the lounge has a sofa bed which can be converted into a double bed. There is a downstairs toilet/washroom and a reading area with bi-fold doors providing a lovely view to the fields and woods at the back of the lodge. To make your stay extra special, there is a private patio where you can BBQ and enjoy the fire pit. Separate from the house is a secure bike / boot / drying room for your exclusive use. Table tennis is available in the summer. The Lodge is separate to the main house but within our garden. You will have a parking space on our drive and a private patio out front. You can have use of our garden to relax in. We live in a house within the same grounds as the lodge and are generally available if you need anything. We would love to meet you to show you round properly, but there is self check in using the lock box if we are unavailable, and for you to leave the key when you leave. Lots of lovely pubs and coffee shops. Short walk to Edlesborough, Ivinghoe and we can advise you on local walks and cycle routes and places of interest. Tring Station is 10 minutes drive away. Direct line to London Euston, approx 40 minutes. We may be able to offer lifts by arrangement. We are 15 minutes from the start of the famous Ridgeway Walk and close to the Ashridge Estate. There is ample parking on our drive.
