Explore our 115 acres, help pick our veggies collect eggs from our chickens or just relax with a book. Maybe catch us rehearsing music. Your can also hire our man cave and studio space separately for your own workshop group activities. We are developing a sustainable lifestyle with permaculture principles and welcome visitors to our farm-sanctuary. Whether you prefer to get away from the hustle and retreat into the serenity of our place or need a base to call home while enjoying the local sights and experiences of East Gippsland with it lakes, rail trails, caves and wineries, you are welcome to make our place your cultural sanctuary. We have a private room available in our home with a queen bed and some basic wardrobe space. There is a shared bathroom with shower, vanity and bath. The family kitchen is also shared. You are welcome to sit back and relax on our deck or front verandah and watch the roses grow and the birds nestle in the local flora. We will prepare you a delicious breakfast with produce from our farm and home baked bread. Feel free to use our kitchen to cook your own other meals with your own ingredients which you will need to bring with you (Bairnsdale is only 15 minutes away and Lindenow only 8 minutes). You may use our dining area, our decks, our separate lounge with fireplace. Or explore our gardens and paddocks. Feel free to help yourself to veggies from our garden and cook it fresh!. You are welcome to sit back and relax on our deck or front verandah and watch the roses grow and the birds nestle in the local flora. We are happy to give you tips of where to go and what to see to suit your needs while you stay with us. Perhaps you'd like to cycle along the nearby 100km Rail Trail. Or perhaps you will prefer to stay on the farm and just explore our 115 acres of paddocks, vegetable garden and orchard with our free range chickens. We are musicians (though most of the REAL musicians seem to have found their way to other duties away from the farm). You might want to have a look at our unique "shearing shed music studio" or have your own private function by hiring our "shed function space" during your stay. Alternatively arrive by train from Melbourne on the (URL HIDDEN) Take a taxi (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) We have built an accommodation cottage in our top paddock which you will pass on your way down the driveway. Peter is an early bird and prefers to get to bed before 9pm so it would be good to keep things quiet after 9pm. If your arrival is likely to be after this then let us know so that we can make arrangements for you to find your room. Guests are asked to be "water wise" as tank water is our only water source.
