Private spacious loft in beautiful home

Welcome to your private loft in our Westmont home! Perfect for business travelers visiting or working in the area. We are on the bus route to Argonne National Lab (Pace Bus 715 - 20 min, 10 min by car) , 1.7 miles to Westmont train station, and 24 miles from downtown Chicago (40 min driving). The neighborhood is very safe and peaceful, close to parks, walking distance of shopping (Walgreens, Mariano's, Aldi, Whole Foods), restaurants and sports bars. Great for walking and jogging. The loft feels very cozy and spacious with a queen size bed and a large desk with a comfortable chair. It sits above the studio, which has a table, chair, walk-in closet, an extra fridge and coffee maker, if you don't want to go to the kitchen downstairs. This is your private space with semi-private entrance through the stairs off of the main entrance door. You also have your own private bathroom with shower down the hallway. There are some stairs to climb to get to the loft from the studio on the second floor. You will have access to the fully equipped kitchen, living room area with TV (Netflix), deck and backyard. We work full time, so we are usually out of the house by 7:30AM on weekdays. I like to have the kitchen on weekends and by 6:00PM to cook on a daily basis. Feel free to use it when we are not at home! I offer free breakfast with homemade bread and jelly, choice of cereal and yogurt. The neighborhood is residential, very safe and quiet, within walking distance of parks, ponds, grocery stores, sports bars and restaurants. There is a Mariano's, a Whole Foods, an Aldi and a Walgreens within 4 minutes driving distance, about 15 minutes walking. Great for walking or jogging. We are about 1.7 miles to the Westmont Metra station with trains to downtown Chicago. There is a Pace bus pick-up in front of the house on week days between 6:30 and 8:00AM to go to the station ,and in the evenings. However, it is best to have a car to drive around. We are on the Pace bus route 715 to Argonne National Lab. The bus stop is about 5 minutes walking distance from the house. There are 2 buses in the morning and in the evening. The bus drops you off at the gate of Argonne Lab. We have two adorable pets: Mufassa, a furry Persian cat, and Maxx, a very friendly Golden Retriever. Maxx gets excited to meet you, then settles downs. Mufassa sleeps most of the time, but loves to be pet as well.
