Enjoy amazing views from the city to Moreton Island and Redcliffe on an acreage block in a quiet rural location that offers an opportunity to escape for a weekend or more. (Please note, this is the two bedroom option, one bedroom is available as Bayview Suite for Two). Spend the day relaxing at home watching the bantam hens forage and the native birds that visit. Watch the sun come up over the bay and the lights of the city turn on at sunset. The suite has two bedrooms which catch the morning sun and offer views to the city and bay. You will have fresh sheets and towels for your stay. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed and has direct access to outside. The second bedroom has two single beds with its own bathroom. When the second bedroom is booked, a large room is included giving extra space for the guests in the second bedroom. A Welcome pack provided for guests upon check in and includes items such as milk, eggs, butter, tea and coffee. The bathrooms have showers, hairdryers, toiletries, towels and each bathroom contains a toilet. The living room has a comfortable sofa, TV, wifi, books and breakfast bar. Outside undercover dining is available. There is a large undercover dining table with chairs and a covered walkway along the entry to the suite. Guests can park in their own carport with space for two cars. There are also extensive grounds that guests can walk around. The cottage is a private suite within the main house and has its own carport and entry. Hosts are readily available when needed, however we understand when people need to escape so will leave you be unless you’re after advice/help or tips! Hosts will meet guests on arrival. We are on top of Clear Mountain with extensive views over Brisbane and to Moreton Bay. The area is quiet and rural with cows on the neighbouring property and chooks on ours. Just across the road is Clear Mountain Lodge where you can dine or enjoy spa treatments. Only 12 minutes to Samford village which has lots of shops and cafes and only minutes to walks through National parks. Because we are open to sea breezes, it can get very cool in the evening even during the summer months, so be sure to pack a warm coat or jumper. Take a break only 40-45 minutes from the CBD and enter a different world. Enjoy the rural countryside while still having easy access to shops restaurants, coffee shops at Samford village (15 minutes away) and Dayboro (15 minutes). We have provided a folder of handy local tips for your stay. Take a picnic or go for a run at Lake Samsonvale, walk through the state forests or enjoy scenic views across the region. Take day trips to Mt Mee, Ocean View and Woodford.
