The property is versatile with plenty of indoor space and a big garden for children and adults to enjoy. Surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Snowdonia, five minutes from zip world and 10 minutes to the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. This detached cottage is in the village of Tregarth, nestled down a peaceful little lane. With no end of adventures at your doorstep to fill up your days, evenings can be spent relaxing in front of the log burning fire whilst children discover hidden treasures or cosy up for a movie. There is a tv for bbc I player and your own Netflix and Amazon log in but we don’t have terrestrial tv. Wifi is available with a workspace if life demands! The perfect place for any Harry Potter fans who will enjoy the subtle magical theme. (Please don’t disturb Dobby). The garden wraps around the cottage with a sunny back deck, large lawn, seating areas, wendy house, fire pit and barbeque. The trees provide privacy and bird lovers will enjoy the variety of wildlife which come to feed. The inside spaces can be adapted to your needs with two large reception rooms/lounges, 3 bedrooms and a crog loft room. The kitchen is of ample size with a gas powered rayburn, separate hob and microwave combi oven. The new wing has been built with sustainable and reclaimed materials and has underfloor heating run from an air source heat pump. The bathroom and shower room are both newly fitted. Whilst there is plenty of head height in ground level rooms, taller people will need to take care if using the crog loft and mezzanine level. The stairs to the crog loft may also be unsuitable for some people, who may prefer to use ground level rooms. Your hosts, Nikola and David, will be on hand in the village should you have any queries during your stay. Whilst there will always be someone to contact, the place is all yours during your stay. You can let yourselves in, and you will not be disturbed! Tregarth is a quiet rural village at the edge of Snowdonia National Park. Whilst offering the peace and tranquillity of the welsh countryside it is a few minutes from the A5 and A55 with quick easy access to all of Snowdonia and Anglesey.The Lon Las cycle track runs from Bangor, through Tregarth and into the mountains. The closest shops are in Bethesda which is a 5 minute drive, or a lovely half hour walk along the cycle track. Major supermarkets and more shopping can be found in Bangor, an easy 10 minute drive away. Many stunning walks can be discovered around the village without the need of transport. More Information on things to do and places to go will be available at the property during your stay. If you are without a car there is a regular bus service from Tregarth into Bangor, Anglesey and to Llanberis where you can reach Snowdon and the surrounding mountains. The nearest train station is Bangor with regular trains to Anglesey and along the coast to Conwy and Llandudno. Parking is opposite the cottage on the lane in front of the garage. This is the private parking area for the cottage. There is plenty of space to park 2 cars easily. There are photographs of the parking space and access in exterior photos in our description. Dogs are welcome but we do ask owners to ensure any dog mess is cleared from the garden and lane. We would also request that you don’t allow your dogs to sleep on the beds. If your pet normally does we understand it can be difficult so please bring a blanket or cover to protect the bedding from dog hair. As you have read in the description the environment is very important to the owners - we ask that you recycle your waste carefully - baskets are provided in the kitchen for this purpose. Only waste that cannot be recycled should be placed in the kitchen bin. We do advise that the cottage is not suitable for infants due to spiral staircase to crogloft which does not have a stair gate. Also there are stairs which are ungated to the eco extension. However if you have a small baby who is not mobile this wouldn’t pose a problem at all. We do make it clear that we have “no smoking” policy throughout the house.
