This modern garden villa is equipped with all facilities to ensure a pleasant stay. It is located close to an idyllic beach and only a short walk from the town centre. The villa is within a private gated 1 acre garden, with housekeeping. A taste of true Sri Lanka! This newly built villa has been designed to ensure you have ample space and facilities to enjoy a relaxing stay. The villa is secure, with housekeeping staff on site, and the large 1 acre plot also contains other properties which are home to our local family. There is also ample parking space but no driver accommodation on site. The property is a perfect destination for couples and families who want to experience a true taste of Sri Lanka in a modern setting. Kitchen: Fully equipped with fridge, microwave/oven, gas cooker, washing machine and a selection of crockery, cutlery and utensils. The standard of this kitchen will easily allow you to self-cater during your stay, but should you wish a chef service is available upon request for an additional charge. For your convenience bottled water can also be delivered daily at an additional cost. Living room: A spacious area with ceiling fans to ensure a comfortable stay. There is a dining area with a large glass-topped table and 6 chairs. Additionally there is a 3 seat sofa and 2 matching armchairs. Bedroom 1 (En-suite): A large air conditioned room, which houses a king size bed. This room benefits from a large fully tiled en-suite bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (hot and cold water) Bedroom 2: A large air conditioned room, which houses a king size bed. Main Bathroom: A large fully tiled bathroom with toilet, sink and shower (hot and cold water) Outside/Garden: The property boasts a large veranda to the front, with a garden table and 4 cushioned chairs. It is well lit to allow you to relax into the evening. The garden itself is well maintained, with a range of tropical plants and flowers; just ask our resident housekeeper for a informative tour! You will also find a hammock attached to 2 of the many coconut trees on the property, so sit back and relax! The entire villa and garden. Please note a similar 2 bed villa is located in the grounds and can be booked in addition to suit larger groups/families. If this second villa is not occupied during your stay, you will be able to access a 'sun deck' at the top of this property. There is a housekeeper on site to ensure all of your needs are met, level of interaction is according to your preference. Mohamed's place is located in the South East part of Trincomalee. The location benefits from being a stone's throw away from the quiet but beautiful Sandy Cove bay, which if you're lucky will be completely yours, only occupied by the local fisherman. This bay is also home to some of the best snorkelling sites in Trincomalee. Additionally, the property is a short walk from the slightly busier beach at Dutch bay. Whilst this beach plays host to more tourists, it is a good place to do watersports or for a variety of restaurants and bars. Trincomalee town centre is approximately 1.5Km from the property and is a vibrant town. Also nearby is Trincomalee harbour, which makes for a scenic cycle ride. The nearby beaches of Uppavelli (8km) and Nilavelli (14Km) can also be reached by Tuk-Tuk Trincomalee is also a cultural centre, with the famous Swami rock temple and the Kanniya hot springs nearby. Tuk Tuks are readily available from outside the property or for a little more luxury AC vans can be arranged for hire with driver.
