Surrounded by olive groves with a splendid view of the medieval town of Siena, only 15 minutes away, the historic house exudes a warm and friendly atmosphere. The Tuscan style apartment with original wooden ceilings and traditional Terra-cotta floors is furnished, with an eclectic mix of antiques and modern comfort. Casa Cernano is situated between the Chianti, famous for it's good wines, and the Crete Senese, a hilly landscape of unusual beauty. The nearest village is Castelnuovo Berardenga (10 Min. on foot, 1 min. by car). Family Leiner discovered the house in 1988 and restored the buildings and it's surroundings. All the original Tuscan features have been carefully preserved and at the same time all modern amenities included for a comfortable stay. Within a 35-45 miles radius there are the towns of Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Montepulciano and Arezzo.
