Set in the village of Sunola in the Almora district, this ancestral house boasts panoramic views of the Himalayas. Your mornings here will start with the chirping sound of birds and nights with a sky full of stars. It's a two-story ancestral house, and the guest has access to the entire first floor that includes a big balcony, three rooms with bathroom and a shared kitchen/dinning space. From the balcony, you can see the entire Trishul, Nandadevi, and other himalayan range. The room is a part of ancestral house and is approx (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) sq ft in size. It is on the ground floor. It has a king size bed, sofa/chair with table, wardrobe, tea maker. In front of the room is open lawn, where one can sit at the evening. One can also sit on the terrace and enjoy the landscapes. There is a big spacious bathroom with Hot water geyser, shower, and western commode. Kitchen and dining space is common for guests in standard rooms. High speed Wi-Fi is common throughout property. There is a sprawling lawn in the front where you can relax during morning and evening and has a 10 ft x4 ftx3 ft swimming pool for kids. Enough secure parking for 10 vehicle and house is surrounded by deep pine forest. If required our cook can prepare basic simple meals for guest on chargeable basis. we have two single bed accommodation @ 750 per day with free meals. best for solo traveller's. Groceries available in nearby shops. River is hardly 3 km away and you can enjoy a bath or have a picnic. Camping facilities like tents and hiking bags etc are also provided at reasonable cost or guest can use tents inside the premises with night bone fire facilities. Different types of birds can be watched during early morning and wild animals in the evening in nearby jungles. Kitchen and dining room In this listing booking is combined for three rooms and each room have two beds. There is a small kitchen in third room with an attached washroom with Indian toilet. In other two room toilet seats are western. Geyser facility is in two western toilets where as hot water in third room is supplied in kitchen. Small kitchens is furnished with water purifiers, LPG cylinders and gas stoves besides other cooking utensils. Charges for usage of LPG gas are extra. Groceries are available from nearby shops. Washing utensils service or laundry services will be charged extra. Since water is scarce in hill area washing clothes in bath rooms are not allowed. There is small pool for kids. Size is 10ftx4 ft and 3 ft deep. As water is scarce and filling the pool is costly so extra charges for filling it with clean water. Additional Charges: 1. LPG gas consumption charges are Rs 25 / per person per day. If there are 6 Members then it will be Rs 150/ per day. 2. For filling the pool Rs 500/ 3 Washing utensils charges, two times a day , for per person is Rs. 100/ when available. Note: All 3 rooms having double beds and extra guest can be accommodated by putting extra mattress at extra cost. The house is located amidst pine forest and Kosi river is flowing 3 km away. You would love the quiteness of the nature. It is on the highway connecting Almora to Ranikhet in Uttrakhand and 90 km from Haldwani and 70 km from Nainital. Nearby watching places are Katar mal sun temple, kasar Devi temple, jageshwar Dham, Kosani, Ranikhet, binsar. Kosi river is flowing nearby. Attractive sight seeing places are within 40 km. Nearest railway station is kathgodam and it is 89 km from there and ,65 km from Nainital. Can come by taxt, bus etc. The location can be approached from Last rail head i.e Haldwani or Kathgodam. It is 90 Km or 3 hrs journey from Kathgodam or Haldwani. Per passenger taxi rate is Rs 300. From our site Taxis and local buses are also available as it is on main Almora- Ranikhet road. Taxis can be booked, on request, from Kathgodam or Haldwani to Almora or for visiting sightseeing places from our place. Normally preference is given to Nainital but if you like to enjoy nature, quite and serene jungles, flowing rivers, chirping of the birds, rural life, tracking and camping bone fire etc then this place is for you. It is best place for old persons who avoid climbing up the stairs as most of the brooms are on ground floor and parking is on ground floor.
