Hudson Riverview Mountaintop Guest House

Perfectly serene getaway, 1hr north of NYC, 1700+SF Cottage with great Hudson River views. Close to best hiking, kayaking, Boscobel, Mantitoga, Storm King, diaBeacon, West Point, etc. Open chef's kitchen, fireplace, deck, and windows everywhere to let in the perfect view. NOTE: WE REGRET that we are unable to host guests with no reviews (except West Point families). Downstairs: master bedroom with bath, 1/2 bath, fully stocked kitchen, living room, dining area, wood burning fireplace, balcony with small propane grill, powder room, washer/dryer. Upstairs: two large rooms for sleeping or work. Essentials are provided (please ask for more if needed): Towels, linens, soap, shampoo, cooking oil, some spice & condiments, toilet paper, one roll of paper towel, fresh sponge, etc. Outdoor firepit. Appalachian hiking trail, gardens, acres to discover. Just 3 miles from Hudson River access plus near some of the area's most popular hiking trails. We live in the main house about 300 feet away. Garrison is a small hamlet about 50 miles north of New York city where more than 50% of area is in nature conservation, with old dirt roads, making it a rare natural getaway so close to NY. Car is necessary (four-wheel drive in snow conditions). Pets are welcome in general but please let us know ahead of time how many and who. Oven door does not lock but it works just as well.
