Lobster Camp ~ the Heron Cabin

Breathe in the salty air from the deck of your cabin with sweeping views of a working harbor in New Harbor, Maine. This vintage 1960's 2 bdrm cabin has remained unchanged for decades. A birdseye view from two picture windows, you feel as if you are part of the action- even from inside. The interior is rustic, simple, clean & charming. 4 cottages total ~this one is at the top of the hill. New Harbor is a small fishing village 60 miles north of Portland Simple, uncluttered furnishings & spectacular harbor views. Rustic, cabin-like knotty pine walls, wifi, and no television. The harbor view deck has a table & will have outdoor chairs. You will have your own small gas grill nearby. This cottage is the 4th from the harbor. The harbor views are amazing as it is the highest up and has views from 2 picture windows. You can experience the harbor activity from your living room chairs. There are 2 equal sized bedrooms each with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has a small shower stall. Linens, pillows & bedding ~are all brand new. The cabin is charming but not fancy. Because the pine walls don't buffer much sound, it may be best suited to a couple, a family, or close friends. A pier and small float in front of the cottages for launching kayaks (not included) or just hanging out. The float is smack dab in the center of the harbor. Sitting there you can't help feel part of the action. Relax & restore while the tides, birds, and fisherman guide your daily schedule. Warning, it's a very hard place to leave. No parties held at property. Maximum 2 cars per cottage on property. We may be on the property gardening or doing maintenance, but will respect your privacy. No photo shoots without prior negotiation.
