Woodland studio

Long Knappa woodland studio sits nestled into a south facing hilltop location. Boasting fabulous and far reaching views over the farms’ eucalyptus trees and across the valley to the woodland opposite. Keep your eyes peeled for the buzzards swooping the valley and roe deer foraging below. The chorus of morning birdsong from the cabin is amazing From the cabin there are numerous walks right on your doorstep and venture a little further to explore the national park and the fabulous Devon beaches Outside there is a south facing deck with table / parasol and loungers merging into the west facing deck featuring a hot-tub that can be reserved separately. From the west elevation guests enjoy the view of garden and pond below, visit the ducks or help themselves to freshly laid eggs curtesy of the resident hens. Step inside the studio and guest will find a spacious bedroom / lounge with a double bed sofa and woodburner. There is a rustic wood kitchen to prepare meals and a bathroom with bath over shower. Guests can park right next to the property. The driveway leading down to the property is steep. Happy to answer any questions during a guests stay. However I largely try to leave guests to enjoy their stay in peace. Those booking the hot-tub as part of their stay must be aware the regulations require daily spa chemical balance testing. Can be arranged for a time that suits and normally does not take too long. The property is semi-detached. The property is heated by a woodburner. Logs / kindling and fire starters are provided for guests.
