Quietly located B&B Faial Casa Dankari, ocean view

Our B&B, Casa Dankari, is located in the village of Ribeirinha, on the east side of the island and within walking distance of the ocean. It is quietly located in the countryside, surrounded by green meadows and forests and only 5' from Horta. You can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view over the Atlantic Ocean and the island of Pico with the majestic, ubiquitous Mount Pico! In the evening you have a fantastic view of the lights of neighboring island Pico and the city of Madalena. The very spacious double room (32m²) with ocean view and private entrance, has a private bathroom with shower and hairdryer, hot and cold air conditioning, a sitting area with TV, minibar and an outdoor terrace. The room is cleaned daily. We also like to share the garden with our guests. Every morning a delicious breakfast is served with local products, a good start for a satisfying holiday. Casa Dankari is also a good starting point for beautiful walks. Within walking distance you will find the "Porto da Ribeirinha", where you can relax, having a picnic or a barbecue, taking a sunbathe and even swim. Hiking trails are available in our B&B. Faial belongs to the central archipelago of the Azores, an archipelago consisting of nine inhabitated islands and located in the middle of the immense, blue Atlantic Ocean. It is the most cosmopolitan island of the Azores, thanks to the cozy yacht and sailing port of Horta. Because of the many blue hydrangeas, it is also called the blue island or "Ilha Azul". The green island with all the natural beauty and healthy air, has not yet been discovered by mass tourism and "has a mild climate all year round"! It is a unique holiday destination within Europe! On the island you can experience all kinds of cultural, nature and sporting activities, including whale and dolphin watching. Deep sea diving is also possible. You can rent a mountain bike or scooter to discover the island in peace. And maybe afterwards you can relax in a natural swimming pool that is spread all over the island. The choice is yours!
