Higgins Lake, is one of the world's most beautiful lakes. Excellent beaches and crystal clear water for swimming, fishing and boating. Nearby boat launches and trails for hiking and off roading. Higgins Lake is a 10,000 acre inland lake. Its sandy bottom is perfect for playing, snorkling, in the sandy shallows, like a swimming pool. You have lake access at the road end 500ft away! Samoset Playground, beach is 1/2 mile away.. 2 State Parks near by. 1 hr to Traverse City. 99 miles to Mackinaw. The outside security cam only points to the garage and pole barn. No other cameras. Relax and enjoy Higgins Lake. The house is newly remodeled and super clean . Our 4 bedroom/1 bath cottage has a beautiful Higgins Lake view. Lake Water access is a 1 min walk down to the lake. The Full Kitchen is completely stocked with all necessities including Keurig coffee maker, griddle, crock pot, toaster, microwave, blender. We have a deck top fire pit and BBQ Charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Clean, charming accommodations. 1 Queen bedroom, 1 King bedroom, 1 with Double twin beds and a couch, and 1 room with a Double bed and a Bunk. Features include WiFi, 5 Smart TVs, a huge collection of DVDs. We have plenty of space to park a boat & trailer. 2 driveways. Only a 2 minute walk to the Landmark Restaurant, and Goodtimes Party store. Other things to note Bath towels and bedding are provided but you will need to bring your own beach towels. There is no overnight mooring of boats, but You may Day anchor your boat near our road end access. This is a non smoking cottage. Pets may be allowed in the cottage, but may not be allowed on furniture or bedding. You will be charged for pet damage. We have a small dog run next to the back door for doggy breaks Entire House and yard. And Lake access 500 feet away at the public shared road end . We will be accessible during your stay if you have any issue. It's a Vacation getaway summer and winter. The locals are friendly and the water is waiting. Your vehicle. Self Check-in.
