The property is a 3 bed terrace in the quiet Moy Rd, in the traditional South Welsh village of Taffs Well. The village has pubs, a Coop store, two churches and other amenities and the property is 5 mins from the main valley railway line to Cardiff and the South Wales Valleys. There is also a regular bus service that runs 5 mins walk from the house. Great for commute or holiday. A quirky place as the home of Welsh artist Kevin Williams there are a number of his paintings hanging around the house. It's perfectly placed for visits to South Wales. 20 mins from Cardiff, half an hour by car to some of the loveliest of South Wales coast line. The Brecon Beacons are 40 mins drive. Historic Caerphilly Castle is 4 miles away. The beautiful Castell Coch is accessible via a beautiful forest walk. Historic Pontypridd is 4 miles away. We are at the start of the Rhondda Valleys. The Welsh Folk Museum at St Fagans is only 5 miles away. Local pubs and restaurants are excellent. Walking in and around Taffs Well is great including the imposing and impressive Garth mountain visible from the main bedroom. Cycling is also very popular in the area and the Taff Trail runs through the village enabling safe cycling to Cardiff Bay or the Rhondda Valleys. The whole house. Two living rooms, kitchen, upstairs WC and shower room, downstairs WC, TV, Wifi, stereo CD, radio, central heating, constant running water, garden, off road parking. I leave my guests to enjoy the house and village without any interference. I am happy to give advice when asked. Also, I will always respond to issues and/or problems if they arose. I recognise that you will want this space to yourself and that is what I offer. Interference free accommodation. Easy access and a cosy stay. Taffs Well is a quiet traditional South Wales village with character and countryside and hillside walks. But it is just 20 mins from the capitol city Cardiff. There are two pubs within half a mile of the house. Local coop is 10 mins walk. Moy road is a quiet cul de sac and the houses here are traditional Welsh terrace. The village nestles in the Taff gorge between the Garth mountain and the Graig Yr Allt. Both are excellent for walking. There are also numerous forest walks to explore either walking or cycling. The Taff Trail cycle way also runs through the village and facilitates cycling to Cardiff to the south or as far as the Brecon Beacons to the North. Railway station 7 minutes walk. Bus stops 5 mins walk. Transport to Cardiff and the valleys. We are also just 5 mins drive from junction 32 of the M4.
