Triesenberg is one of the oldest communities in Liechtenstein and one of the Walser. For hikers here a lot is offered as the Legend Trail and hiking in Malbun to Austria. Winter sports fan also come at their expense in Malbun (approx 10min bus ride) there mehere lifts and runs an ice rink, and children's own little empire with lift and descent. In Malbun, there are also several restaurants, bars and an ATM. In the district web there is a cross country trail as well as a 1.5 km long natural toboggan run. In the summer time also Paragleiting flights from nearby Gaflei made available. In summer and winter the restaurant Sarais is highly recommended, it is at 1600m and can be reached by chairlift. Even mountain bikers will get their costs, there are all good ways to go to its limits, the routes are well signposted incl. Km and time specified. With the buses one reaches every corner of the small country the connections are even border crossing up to Switzerland and Austria where one gets a good connection to the regional and long-distance train of the train.
