Welcome to this cozy, comfortable house with a big garden (of more than 100 sqm), where you can have lunch and sunbathe surrounded by peaceful countryside, yet close to Pisa and its leaning tower, the beach and other major Tuscan cities. Welcome to this cozy and comfortable house with a big garden (of more than 100 sqm), where you can have lunch, sunbathe and relax, and kids can play on the grass. There is a small library with foreign language books. From the house and the garden, you will enjoy a fantastic view of the Tuscan countryside and Lari castle. The house, approx. 60 sqm, comprises a bedroom with a double bed, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. The living room can be adapted to a bedroom with a double sofa bed. All the rooms enjoy a splendid view of the hilly neighborhood. The house is a hundred metres far from the centre of Lari, a charming small town offering any kind of facilities: a post office, a pharmacy, restaurants, some grocer's shops, a petrol station, a library. Lari and the surrounding territory offer a large variety of choices: history, culture, nature, thermal baths, wine tours. You'll be provided with tickets for free wine tasting in one of the many wineries near Lari. The house has a strategic position: it's 30 km from Pisa, 30 km from the sea and 65 km from Florence. The guests have access to the big garden (more than 100 sq mt) and have a private parking space, right on the premises. Since I live next door, I will always be available if you need help or information about places to visit or where to buy things. I really like hosting people, because it's a chance to learn more about distant places and cultures, but I'm also very respectful of their privacy. Although very close to the town centre, the house is located in a quiet and secluded area. A short walk will take you into the village, where a variety of shops and eating places are located. Lari is a cozy town next to Pisa, 30 km from the beach and only 65 km from Florence. The landscape is hilly, with vineyards and olive tree plantations. The Castle of Lari was the seat of the Vicario, a nobleman from Florence who administered a large territory from the coast to the river Era and beyond. The Castle is a remarkable example of military Renaissance architecture. Lari is linked to Pontedera by a direct bus line. Pontedera is the nearest train station and from there you can easily get to Pisa or Florence. Lari has has an exit on the highway FI-PI-LI. You can rent a car or take a taxi at Pisa airport, which is about 20 minutes away from Lari. My aim is to make people comfortable and let them enjoy their holidays, so I do my best to assist them and provide all they need.
