Natural Glamping in a Vintage American Trailer

The Trailer and Chalet are set on the edge of the Village (10 min walk to the Centre) in a calm and shady area, just 50 metres away from the River (a nice place for a 'Dip' to keep cool). Ideal for up to 4 guests with plenty of space to feel at one with nature. For that special experience in a unique setting, we have kept everything as original as possible whilst providing as many touches of luxury as possible. The 'Headline' price is based on 2 Adults with 2 Children lodged without charge. The Trailer. Our 1956, 4 Berth Silver Streak Clipper is in fabulous original condition and is located on a quiet, private and shady Terrace on the edge of the Village. It has its own access and off road parking, and is fully equipped with 2 Single Beds which can convert to a king sized double , an extra long Double Bed, a Kitchen with full sized Cooker, Fridge, twin Sinks and an Extractor Fan. The Bathroom has a Sink and Toilet. The Bedroom with 2 Single Beds can be separated by a folding Door. There is plenty of Storage Space throughout the Caravan. Along the side of the Trailer is a large covered Deck Area with Table and Chairs. There is also a 10m2 Services Chalet which houses a Kitchenette with Fridge etc., a second Toilet, a full sized Shower and a 'Breakfast Corner' with a Microwave, Kettle and Toaster. All Pots, Pans, Plates, Cutlery and Glasses etc are provided, as well as a BBQ and Ping Pong Table. A reasonable fast free WiFi / Ethernet Internet Connection is also available and all Bed Linen, Towels etc. are included in the Price. (It would be possible to securely store Bicycles in the services Chalet if required.) There is running hot and cold Water in both the Trailer and the Chalet. Both the Trailer and Chalet can be comfortably Heated for visits during the cooler seasons of the year and is included in the price. Tariff: 45€ per night for 1 person 70€ for 2 Adults, with 2 children included free. Please note: Up to 2 'Extra Adult Guests' are 10€ a night each. If you are 2 adults staying with up to 2 Children, please just book 2 adults, and inform us how many children will be coming, so we can prepare the space accordingly. These prices are based on a minimum 2 night stay. Please add a 5€ 'surcharge' per adult for a single nights stay. We can offer a 10€ per night DISCOUNT, until the 31st. March Please note we CANNOT accept pets. The Trailer has both 110 volt and 240 volt electrical systems and there is free Wifi and Ethernet internet connections available. The nearest Supermarket is 10 mins drive and the weekly Sunday Market in Esperaza is just 15 mins by Car.We live just next door so are on hand to help you if required. We have many years of knowledge about the region and will be able to provide advice on places to visit and things to do if you so wish. Rennes les Bains has a Bar and 4 Restaurants, a Shop/Bakery and Post office and being a (Roman)Thermal Spa, there is a naturally heated Swimming Pool and a Wellbeing Centre with Hammam, Jacuzzi and the possibility of massages etc. We are nearby and are happy to mix with you or leave you alone as you desire...We travel ourselves, and love meeting new people and had a 20 year Business flying Hotair Balloons, so one of the motivators for setting this up was to meet new and interesting People The Aude Region of France has anything and everything to suit the aspirations of all types of Visitor. We are in Cathar Country with Castles and the famous Cite of Carcassonne all within 1 hour. The Mediterranean Beaches are 1.5 hours away and we are served by 5 airports offering low cost flights year round.The area is ideal for nature lovers as well as those seeking some adventure. Cycling and Mountain Biking, Rambling and Hiking, Birdwatching, White Water Rafting and Canoeing as well as Horseriding and Fishing. For anyone planning on a Winter Visit the nearest Ski Station is 1 hours drive. The nearest access to Public Transport is 9 kms, so a Car is probably a good idea. However, there is everything available in the Village , Bakery/grocers , Bar and Restaurants etc. so maybe not essential.
