Charming Unique 2 Bdrm Apartment in Victorian Home

My place is close to the excitement and culture of the beautiful city of Chicago. It is a short walk to Metra trains with a 30 minute ride downtown. You’ll love my place because of the diverse, comfortable, quiet, tree lined neighborhood where you can relax and feel secure. It is close to expressways, golf courses and a local park with walking path. The apartment is not available to guests without previous positive reviews. This home was built in 1873 as a single family home but was converted to a two flat in about the 1940's. It has been updated and modernized but there are original wood details throughout the space. You will be occupying a private apartment on the second floor of our home. It is our preference to greet our guests personally upon arrival, but when circumstances don't permit that, we have an exterior lock-box so that you can access keys and check in any time after 3:00 pm. You must be able to climb a flight of stairs to the second floor. We have varied schedules so we may not always be around, but please feel free to message us if you have any needs. We will be more than happy to help. If you are so inclined, we love to have interesting conversations with our guests and hear about your journeys or offer recommendations. This is a diverse historic neighborhood with unique architecture, mature trees, and friendly neighbors. There are several small restaurants, a bakery, grocery store and an ice cream shop within walking distance. There is free parking in front of the apartment. There is a school across the street from our home. On most days there is ample parking after 3:00 pm. There is never a time when you won't find parking within a house or two.
