Walk to dinner (great restaurant!) or cook your own meals in fully stocked kitchen. This is a one bedroom apartment upstairs from what used to be La Morenita Mexican Restaurant. It has a king bed in the bedroom and a two queen beds in the side loft, but the entrance requires crawling into the space so it's awkward for people with bad knees or the extremely tall! Kids love it because it feels like a fort. For the winter there is a really nice wood burning stove with free firewood for heat but also a strong electric floor heater in the bedroom. It has a front balcony and back deck that have really nice views of the beautiful surrounding forest. You are just minutes to all the fun things the Pinecrest area has to offer, Pinecrest Lake, world-class hiking, bike trails, horseback riding, one of the prettiest drives in the country over Sonora Pass, down 395, and back through Yosemite on Hwy 120. Access on and off Hwy 108 is very convenient, getting stuck in snow is not a problem! Dogs welcome! Upper floor apartment, deck, balcony, very convenient to Hwy 108. Hosts live onsite Right next store to Mia's restaurant! Closest rentable accommodations to Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Ski Resort not on Forest Service land. Very limited quantity of rentals in Pinecrest, the cabins around the lake are not allowed to be rented. We are as close as you can be to the lake and the ski resort without being on Forest Service land where strict rental controls are in place. Public transportation is not available in Pinecrest.
