It is a perfect launching point for your adventures, whether you crave the solitude of the desert landscape or the cool breeze among aspen and pine trees. Make this your home away from home where you can gather and recharge. The location is central to many beautiful and varied adventures. Capitol Reef National Park is a scenic 15 mile drive. About 40 minutes you will find Cool and pristine Fish Lake surrounded by pines and aspen or Boulder Mountain along one of America's most Scenic Drive, Highway 12. Around an hour, Calf Creek Falls, Escalante slot canyons, Goblin Valley. About 2 hours away are stunning Lake Powell and Bryce Canyon. Spacious at 1600 square feet. The floor plan was designed with large families and groups in mind. There are two queen bedrooms and two bunk rooms for the kids so everyone can have their space. There is a large TV room and TV's in the two queen bedrooms. Away from the busy destinations of Moab and St. George, but with the same beautiful red rock country. We provide a fully stocked kitchen, including a Keurig coffee maker (and conventional coffee maker and coffee grinder). The full house, covered patio and surrounding yard is yours. Your local host, Kathy, will greet you at the house in order to show you around and answer any questions you may have. She is also available by phone. The neighborhood is serene and quiet. Your nearest neighbors are lush farmland and open range, with a few quaint homes beyond that. Just a couple of blocks away is a great park with a playground for the kids and lots of green space for playing. The park is also surrounded by a gravel path. The neighboring town of Bicknell has a movie theatre and community pool, Loa has groceries, and Torrey has restaurants. The town of Teasdale makes for lovely and leisurely walks. If you are traveling with an infant please bring your own high chair as one is not available.
