La Casa Piccola
La Casa Piccola comprises a double bed sitting room with separate hall, bathroom (bath and shower) and kitchen with washing machine. One and a half hours door to door by car from Nice Airport, a little longer from Genoa airport. *Please note, due to a storm in Nov 2020 the swimming lake near the house is unusable. Pictures will be updated when repairs are done. Other wild swimming places are available within walking distance of the village* Stunning views from the sitting room and garden, 5 minutes walk to the local river fed community swimming lake and a beautiful 20 km drive to Italian Riviera beaches makes La Casa Piccola an ideal holiday retreat. Overlooking the ancient mill town of Molini Di Triora, La Casa Piccola is a 5 minute walk through spectacular medieval streets to bars, restaurants, baker and traditional grocers shops. The area is excellent for walking and mountainbiking. Good internet access in almost all the local bars and cafès. For night life, San Remo, Menton and Monte Carlo are all within easy reach. Molini di Triora has a local bus service from Taggia or San Remo train stations, so access by rail is also possible. Good library of books in English. The whole studio apartment plus small garden with stunning views. Help is available from a multilingual neighbour or us if we are there (or by email if we are not). Medieval village setting with all amenities. Parking 200 metres from house, regular bus service to village from the coast and train service from Nice and Genoa airports to Taggia Arma, the nearest town. Not suitable for guests with limited mobility (steep cobbled streets). Parking is in a small parking area 200 metres from the house. Heating is by pellet stove, it makes the space very cosy but the easy instructions must be followed carefully. The property you will be staying in is an annex to Via Casa Soprane 30, about 30 yards away with its own entrance and garden.
