Bench Tor Apartment @Badgers Holt, Dartmeet

Bench Tor Apartment is situated within the grounds of Badgers Holt in beautiful Dartmeet, just a stones throw from the river Dart, which can be seen from the master bedroom. This is a perfect spot for walking & exploring Dartmoor. We have resident Peacocks, goats, rabbits and just outside the gate you can often find Dartmoor ponies aplenty. Next door is a great little Tea Rooms offering breakfasts, light lunches and Devon Cream Teas. We are right in the heart of Dartmoor next to the river dart. Our location is perfect for people wanting to explore Dartmoor by car, foot , cycle or canoe! We are very remote out here and of an evening it is pitch dark -perfect for star gazing. Guests will have access to Badgers Holt grounds and gardens - with gate out to the open Moorland with walks along the beautiful river dart and up to Par and Sharp Tor. The apartment is solely for guests use - each apartment has its own lockable door and are fully self-contained. A fire pit is available for use should you require it please just ask us. If guests require anything or would like information on the area please pop in to Badgers Holt Tea Rooms during daytime hours or message via airbnb and someone will be able to help. We leave guests in private but are very happy to chat with our guests and offer local information etc at any time and you will receive a very warm welcome in the tea rooms if you wished to pop in and say hello. We do always love to meet our guests but respect your privacy. There are very few neighbours - of an evening this is very quiet and private. Other than taxi's there is no public transport here Outside the apartment are bins - we live is a beautiful area and aim to be ebviomentally conscious so do encourage recycling and have separate bins for food waste, plastics, glass and cardboard
