Berry Hall Farm has been in our family for over 150 years and is surrounded by some of the best countryside in Norfolk. Our three shepherd huts are nestled in their own private part of the farm, giving you a escape from your normal life, giving you a peaceful and tranquil place for r and r. The perfect area for walks, fishing, sailing, boating, bird watching, visiting some beautiful beaches and only a half an hour drive from the historic city of Norwich. Our Farm house Hut is our largest Shepherds Hut, fitted with all the mod cons! Complete with your very own hot tub just outside your door. There is also WiFi, please see booklet in your hut. Each Shepherds Hut will have a decked outside area with chairs and table to make the most of those summer evenings. There will be a bricked bbq at each hut for you to use your disposable bbq on ( disposable bbq and fresh local butchers meat can be ordered and be at your hut ready for you arrival upon request for an extra cost). Please note disposable Bbqs have to be purchased from ourselves due to health and safety on the farm Depending on your arrival time I will be here to meet, greet and introduce you to your hut or I will leave the key in a lock safe and email you the code. After that, I am a telephone call or a text away, if and when you need me. Our quaint Hamlet of Pennygate is in a small but beautiful and friendly Norfolk village of Barton Turf. Don’t be alarmed when walking that people will greet you a good morning. This beautiful place is where I grew up and is full of amazing lovely people, always willing to share a memory or tell you some information on our village. A short walk away from the Norfolk broads, this unique place gives you the most stunning sunsets and sun rises. The neighbouring village of Neatishead will give you the amenities you need for your stay. A village pub, The White Horse brewing their own ale and producing food using local produce, a village shop and Ye Olde Saddlery serving breakfasts and some takeaway food. The shop and pub are a 5 minute drive away, but roads are suitable for walking and biking. Nearest train station is Hoveton/Wroxham a 10 minute drive away. Local taxis can be booked We will do our upmost best to help and work around your stay so please just contact us. Our seasoned wood is the only wood to be used in our wood burners. Wood in huts ready, can be paid on departure £10 Disposable bbqs must be purchased from us for health and safety reasons to put on the bricked bbqs outside your hut £5.50 party size ( included in price if you order a bbq hamper ) Please note no smoking in the huts and no glass in the tubs ( plastic glasses are provided) No fireworks or loud noise after 10:30 No open fires outside or in Just to relax and unwind in the beautiful quiet countryside
