ADK Base Camp

ADK Base Camp is a rustic, comfortable and cozy cabin located just a few miles outside of the town of Old Forge. Perfect location for recreation opportunities all year. Hand peeled log interior, woodstove/fireplace, hot tub and deck overlooking stream & small waterfall. A romantic getaway in the Adirondacks! Guests have the cabin completely to themselves. Driveway, deck and hot tub included. NOTE ABOUT HOT TUB: The hot tub IS AVAILABLE. It is NOT guaranteed as part of the rental agreement that it will be functioning and ready upon arrival. In the Adirondacks, especially in winter, we often loose power. This obviously will effect hot tub operation. There are other factors that also effect hot tub functioning. I do my best to keep it in top shape. 99% of the time it is in great condition and operational when guests arrive. There is a chance that it is not. I will not give discounts or refunds due to hot tub issues. It’s a bonus feature of renting the cabin. I am managing this property for the owner. I live in the area and will be available by phone or text anytime. I can also come assist you, in person, if needed. The cabin is 3 miles from the heart of Old Forge. 1.5 miles down the road is the association beach, available for guest use. The cabin is located on an acre of wooded land with a stream and waterfall running through the edge of the property. Private yet close to town. The water at the cabin comes from a drilled well. It is fine to bathe in and was dishes with. It does have a metallic odor. Bottled drinking water is suggested.
