Spacious, well equipped Wirral holiday home

A kid friendly, bright, airy and spacious holiday home with fully equipped kitchen, private garden and terrace. Equally suitable for summer breaks near numerous sandy beaches and North Wales or for winter weekends away in the country, yet within 30 mins of amazing Liverpool and Chester cities. We always leave a selection of (locally sourced when we can) goodies to welcome you. We think that there is nothing better than having a drink and a snack or treat as soon as you’ve arrived. We’ve stayed in a wide variety of holiday lets in a diverse range of locations with our young family over the years. So we have an idea of what makes a good experience for a short break or longer stay. Firstly, somewhere with baby/child equipment such as a high chair so that we don’t need to haul it all with us. Secondly, a well equipped kitchen with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and gadgets that means we can cook well when we don’t want to go out. Chuck in salt, pepper a few herbs and spices, some oil and we are smiling. Thirdly, a good quality coffee machine and a washing machine. Fourthly, some space so that we can comfortably enjoy our evening once the children are in bed without constantly worrying about disturbing them. And finally, we love a welcome pack woth a few goodies do that we can kick back and relax, have a snack and a drink without having to go shopping as soon as we arrive. You’ll find all that and more here - we want you to relax while you’re staying, enjoy your home away from home so that you can recharge and refresh ready for the next day. The house is completely self contained, essentially a semi detached house adjoining our family home. The rooms are all generously sized, bright and airy, and it has recently been redecorated and furnished to a high standard. Downstairs, you have exclusive access to a well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large lounge/dining area and a downstairs bedroom with queen sized bed, opening onto a sunny, private cottage garden and terrace. There is a WC, as well as washing machine, iron and ironing board. Upstairs are two large and bright bedrooms - one with queen sized bed and one with twin beds, as well as masses of storage space and a large bathroom with separate bath and shower. We live adjacent to the holiday house (we share a party wall!). We shall leave you to enjoy your holiday or break in privacy but are on hand if you have any questions. Located in the heart of the Wirral along a peaceful country lane in a quiet country location. Two pubs are within a short walk and many more within a 5-10 minute drive. The town of Heswall with many restaurants, cafes and shops is less than 10 minutes by car. You are in easy reach (15 minute drive) of the seaside at popular West Kirby and New Brighton. You can be in the centre of vibrant Liverpool or historic Chester within 30 mins or in the hills and coast of North Wales in under an hour. After you have explored the area, come home to our light and airy holiday home and relax before your the next day begins. We are well located in the heart of the Wirral. We recommend having a car to get around but have numbers of local taxi firms supplied in the welcome pack and there is a bus stop at the end of the road too. We have parking for two cars right outside the holiday house, if you have additional vehicles then we ask they are left in a nearby road. If you do arrive by train, Liverpool Lime St is around a 20 minute and £22 Uber ride away. We are well equipped for families with small children with a high chair, toys, a travel cot, and stair gates, which make the holiday house very baby and child friendly. You are next door to our family home, we have two (mostly!) well behaved children, so appreciate noise being kept to a minimum after 11pm.
