Old authentic farmhouse nestled in the beautiful Beaujolais, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a comfortable living room with fireplace, a modern kitchen and a terrace with breathtaking views. Secluded vacation area, away from main roads and traffic. The house is classified 4-star Meublé de Tourisme according to French legislation. A large natural swimming basin, built in 2019, adds to the charm of the place (18 m long, 9 m wide, 1.6 m deep in the center. Fine country life with all the comfort of home. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated in a simple style. Wonderful stay for great outdoor excursions in the beautiful surrounding countryside or just to rest and get away from it all. A professional housekeeper takes care of the cleaning and preparation of the rooms. The whole house is for you with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room and a well-equipped kitchen, internet with wifi, an outdoor terrace with garden furniture, a barn where you can park the car and bicycles if desired, a landline telephone (limited to local calls). And during the warm season you can enjoy our private natural bathing pool protected by a secure fence. There is also oil, vinegar, and spices available. This is our vacation home, so we will be available by phone and email. The person who takes care of the cleaning lives in Monsols and can welcome you if necessary. However you can arrive independently. We have very friendly and helpful (French-speaking) neighbors. Located in the green setting of the hamlet "Les Jacquets", the house is not completely isolated, but offers tranquility and privacy. Enjoy walks or bike rides on the surrounding paths and in the gently sloping hills all around. Visit Cluny Abbey, the wine route, numerous castles, outdoor markets and festivals. The village of Monsols is 2km away and has several shops, including a grocery store, a bakery, a pharmacy. A traditional butcher is 15 minutes from the house. Several towns are less than 30 minutes away. There are no more turkey farms nearby since 2021 and therefore no more unpleasant odors. This is very good news for all the residents of the hamlet! A private vehicle is needed; there is a bus at some 10 minutes walking distance. One friend has come from Switzerland by train and bus, but this is rather slow and not very convenient. The master bed is 160 cm broad. In the other bedroom, there is a sofa bed that can be used as a single (90cm) or double (180) and a wood bed that is (140cm) broad. This is a country house. As much as we try to keep them out, there may be an odd spider or fly in the house.
