Country Cottage, pet friendly & close to Canberra

Come and enjoy a country escape whilst still only being 15 minutes from Canberra. Our cosy cottage is located in the picturesque countryside, it is fully self contained with reverse cycle air conditioning and all necessary appliances. We are children and pet friendly and have a totally enclosed backyard and patio space for dogs. We run a small hobby farm of 23 chickens, 2 miniature goats and a horse. We are happy to arrange a meet and greet for guests. Enjoy the privacy of your own space; sunny living room, huge kitchen, separate bedroom and an updated refreshed bathroom. Enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink in the tree lined patio. The cottage has a carport for parking but we have lots of space for other vehicles if needed. We are only 15 minutes from the quaint village of Bungendore which has cafes, antique shops and galleries to explore and a great local supermarket for any grocery needs. There are a number of local wineries to visit also. Canberra is also just a quick drive down the highway should you wish to explore what the National Capital has to offer. At the end of our quiet road there is a network of greenways (walking tracks) for you to explore. The greenways are surrounded by bush and filled with native wild life. We also are regularly visited by the wildlife in and around the cottage, including an abundance of kangaroos. Guests have their own private access to the cottage. Keys will be obtained via a key lock system.
