A Taste of Tiny Living : Tiny Studio

This tiny studio has its own covered outdoor table and chairs within a lovely garden area and front door access from the front courtyard. The kitchenette hidden away in the cupboard has a small fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and crockery and cutlery. There is also a gas cooker in the outdoor area. A separate walk in wardrobe area links to the full size bathroom. Perfect for a single person a couple. FREE OFF street parking space too! The space is unique you have a lovely courtyard to use and your own bathroom. The studio is within a large house, we live upstairs and as our children have grown up the ground floor of the house we don't need. So there are 2 other studios on the ground floor. One of the other studios is dual key with this one, so great for couples that want to holiday together but have their own spaces. Each studio has there own outdoor eating areas that are screened for some privacy. Plus free use of Bikes. The studio includes everything you need for a comfortable stay, Double bed Separate hanging space, and shelves side table, desk light, Desk and chair. Mirror, ceiling fan. A power board so all gadgets can charge at the same time! The studio has direct access to it from the front of the house. Own outdoor seating area next to room, with gas cooker. Own bathroom with shower, vanity and toilet. Your own bathroom assessed from a passage area where you can either store your suitcases or keep your clothes like a walk in wardrobe. We try and make sure there is tea, coffee, sugar if you are just staying for a few days, so at the very least when you first arrive before needing to find the local shops there is enough provided to feel comfortable. Of course we are upstairs so if you want something just ask us. If we have it, we are happy to share! During your stay your welcome to use the herbs, salt, pepper, and any other food items that are stored in the kitchenette. You have access to everything in the apartment and your area of the outdoor space. Please note: this 'tiny' apartment can be booked in conjunction with another small 1 bedroom apartment adjacent, so there will be at times other guests staying next door. Everything is separate, no shared internal areas, with their own front door and own outdoor seating area within the shared front courtyard. Bikes are free to use during your stay, including helmets and bike locks, just ask for them. This is up to you but as you have your own self-contained area downstairs, I may only see you when you arrive and leave. Very quiet area, lots of birds, big trees provide a shady outdoors. The place is a 5-minute drive from South Freo Beach and a few more minutes away from the action of Fremantle (10mins by car and 20mins by walk and bus) Bikes are free to use. Walk to the beach and nearby Manning Park. A nature trail begins at the back door, offering views of the beach, coastline, and hills. Bikes are free to use and it's a quick ride to south beach for a swim and 20-25mins to Fremantle Railway Station. Buses along Rockingham road are every few minutes and take you to Fremantle Station in 10mins, there you can train it to the city , Cottesloe, Subiaco and Claremont if you want. Depends on if you want to take a car from the airport or spend the money to taxi it to another car hire place. The cheapest place I know is No Birds Bayswater Car hire or Fremantle world of cars (this is very close to our house - walking distance). Each place offers cars from $25 per day. I think both companies insurance is not too bad or if you have a credit card and international drivers license you card may cover insurance - worth checking as that can save you money too. We provide bath towel per person, and fresh bed linen on bed. There is a washing machine free to use but you will need to supply washing powder, it is a top loading machine. We provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper and sometimes a few extras! If you are staying for more than one week we can also provide beach towel, just ask us if you need one. Longer term stays we ask you wash sheets weekly and vacuum your room. This is not a serviced apartment. I clean before a guest arrives and then it is up to the guest to maintain the condition of the place.
