Ezantsi Lodge - Hide away in the forest

Hidden between vineyards, forest and fynbos just outside Cape Town is the luxurious Lalapanzi Lodge. This stylish vineyard retreat is the perfect place to unwind or use as a base to explore the Cape. Consist of 5 B&B rooms, 2 self catering lodges and 1 villa. Ezantsi lodge is one of our free-standing six sleeper log cabins. The lodge has its own private parking area, outside area, 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, open plan living room with breakfast bar and balcony. The beautiful build wooden lodge has 3 bedrooms with underfloor heating and ceiling fans. It has 3 en-suite bathrooms, All with shower, basin and toilet. The bathrooms also have underfloor heating and heating towel rail. The living area is open planned, with fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, couches, gas fire place and Tv/Dstv /DvD player. WiFi internet is available free of charge throughout the unit. The living area flows onto the balcony which has a dining table, the garden with patio outside has a couch, braai, sun loungers and dining table for watching the sunset and enjoying leisurely breakfasts. Underneath the house there is a washing machine which is handy should you stay longer, although our employees are more than welcome to do your washing for you for an extra fee. The pool is a short walk away from the lodge and so is the guesthouse that offers breakfasts, drinks, dinner and massages. As we are a small establishment, we do require you to pre-book meals and massages. Drinks and ice-cream are always available. The lodge is situated on a 17 hectare wine, pine and Fynbos farm (Lalapanzi Lodge / Skaap wines). We are part of a larger estate called Wedderwill security estate. This estate has a dam for swimming, or you can make use of our Kayak, walking paths and MTB trails. Birding is also popular on our estate. If you like to stay in a quite place in nature, we are what your looking for. This is why we do not allow any music after 9pm and before 9am. We're perfectly located to take advantage of all that the Cape Winelands has to offer, including: Cable car water skiing (2km), Award wining restaurant Idiom Wines, wine tasting at Waterkloof Wine (5 km), Gordon's Bay Beach (7 km), Somerset West even more vineyards (8km), Somerset Mall and Cheetah outreach (10km), Stellenbosch centre (30km), Cape Town, Table Mountain and The Waterfront approx 52km. Franschhoek 58km. Hermanus (whale and penguins) 50km. We recommend that our guests have a car, as there is no public transport close-by. Alternatively you can use Uber for your rides.
