The Garden House is a bright, airy guest suite, overlooking a large garden and with stunning views of Wales, the Dee Estuary and the Royal Liverpool Golf Club . The ground floor has a kitchen and dining area beside a bright living space, with a sofa and TV. Upstairs, via a spiral staircase, there is an ensuite bedroom with kingsize bed. The accommodation has its own private entrance accessed by the side of the main house. A private patio with tables and chairs overlooks the garden. The garden is a haven for birds and bees. Guests can enjoy watching the bees coming and going into their hives at the far end of the garden. Parking is available on a private driveway in front of the house. My name is Kate. I live with my husband Andy in a lovely house and garden close to the beach in Hoylake. Our house, which overlooks the Royal Liverpool Golf Club has a self-contained guest suite with a private entrance, available to rent for a weekend, a whole week, or longer. The suite provides privacy, tranquillity and access to the beach, several golf courses, the town of Hoylake, and to Liverpool and Chester by train or car. The Garden House is located very close to Hoylake beach and the nature reserve of Hilbre Island, both of which are a favourite with walkers and birdwatchers. The town of Hoylake with many bars and restaurants is a five minute walk away. Nearby is West Kirby marine lake, popular with dinghy sailors and windsurfers. There are many opportunities for cycling and walking along coastal paths bordering the Dee Estuary and Hoylake beach. Liverpool city centre is easily accessible. It is a 25 minute train journey from nearby Hoylake station, or can be reached by car in the same time. For more active guests, Liverpool can also be reached by bicycle, along a cycle route to Seacombe, where the famous ferry across the Mersey can be taken to the centre of the city. To the south is the historic Roman town of Chester, reached by train from Hoylake, or a half hour journey by car.
