Tattletale is one of the oldest cottages in the village and is beautifully presented with roll top bath, wood burning stove and ornamental aga. It has everything you will require for your break including a bbq and additional stove on the delightful Mediterranean style patio to enjoy Alfresco dining. It also boasts a small garden to relax and soak up the sun. You are only 50 mtrs away from the head of the Helford River and fantastic village pub, shop, Café and post office. Enjoy your stay. Tattletale is ideally situated to explore the Lizard peninsular and all of its rugged coast line with stunning beaches and superb cliff top walks. The Cornish seal sanctuary is only a short walk away. There are numerous national trust properties nearby with Flambards theme park a short drive away near the Market town of Helston. Gweek boat yard has its own slipway should you wish to launch your own boat or Kayak and explore the beautiful Helford River with the estuary leading out to Falmouth. Guests have access to the whole cottage including the Garden room, lower patio area and upper garden including the use of the large BBQ. We do like to give our guests their own space and privacy but are contactable By phone text or email if you have any queries. If you would like us to be available when you check in please let us know before you arrive. Gweek is a friendly village and the locals are truly welcoming. Fish and chips are available by the village green on Wednesday evenings So you can sit and enjoy them by the river and maybe then a stroll to the Black swan inn for a relaxing drink or meal in the restaurant. The Café is based in the boat yard and has excellent food while sitting outside on the riverbank. The Cornish seal sanctuary is also based a short walk away. Maybe this is why we chose to live in this picturesque village with so much to do. Peace and quiet if that’s what you want or head off into Falmouth or Truro If you want Larger shops theatres etc. The best way to get around is by car or bike but there is a good bus service that will take you to the nearby towns or villages.
