Cozy room with seating area and terrace near Lake Constance and Säntis, idyllically located in the middle of nature. The private room is on the top floor of the house. The bathroom with shower is for private use and is located on the ground floor. A quiet and private seat is available to guests behind the house. We are close to the city of St.Gallen, the university, the OLMA exhibition center, Lake Constance and the Alpstein but still in the countryside. The room is on the top floor of the house and is therefore very quiet, cozy and you have your own privacy. Entertainment is provided by a TV with DVDs and a Nintendo Wii with various games. In addition to the room there is a private sitting area with a small dining table with 2 chairs, a sofa, kettle, tea and coffee, dishes and cutlery and a small fridge. In the fridge there are drinks and snacks that can be bought for a fair fee if required. There is also enough space in the fridge to keep private things cool. Coffee, coffee cream and tea are free and included. Since the sitting area and the room are separated from the staircase by a door, you have your own little cozy area under the roof. The bathroom is also for private use only and is equipped with a shower, hairdryer and cosmetic products. Behind the house is the terrace for private use with a view into the countryside. A table with 4 chairs, a deck chair and sun protection are at your disposal. For longer stays you can inquire about this in advance. We are spontaneous and flexible, actually always easy to reach and answer as soon as possible. We are happy to help and are available if guests need tips or have questions. If we are not at home, we are easily accessible via our cell phone / mobile phone. We love to meet guests from all over the world. We are close to the city of St.Gallen, the university (approx. 10 minutes by car) and the OLMA exhibition center but still in the countryside. It is also only a few minutes drive to the surrounding local recreation areas and tourist highlights such as Lake Constance or Appenzellerland with Säntis. Thanks to bus and train connections, we are also easily accessible by public transport. Our village with 900 inhabitants is very tranquil and lies in the middle of green meadows and forest. Our location therefore perfectly combines peace and nature with the proximity to places where something is going. There are good shops, restaurants, bars and many sights in the surrounding area. There is a lot to experience and discover around Berg. Our house is about 10 minutes by foot from the next bus stop «Berg Seeblick». In 15 minutes you can take bus 200 to St. Gallen, in 10 minutes to Arbon on Lake Constance. There is also a train station "Roggwil Berg" in the neighboring village. This can be reached by foot in about 20 minutes. A parking lot for guests is right by our house. The price includes a double bed (140 x 200 cm), a sofa bed for 2 people and 1 pillow and 1 blanket per guest. For additional blankets including bed linen, an extra charge of CHF 10 is required. Please let us know if you wish. On request, we also have a baby travel cot available, for which CHF 10 extra is charged. When occupied by 4 people, 2 people sleep in the room and 2 people on the sofa bed in the private sitting area. There is a possibility of blackout in the room, only partially in the private sitting area. We also offer a laundry service with a dryer. As a rule, you will get your laundry back fresh the next day. Price per full drum is CHF 10. I can also offer you breakfast on request when booking (at least 2 days in advance). Please ask me in advance. We ask you to be quiet in the house after 9 p.m. because of our children. On the upper floor in your private area it is not a problem as it is very soundproof. To get to your room you have to go through the whole house. So please pay attention and not be too loud. Thank you.
