Our luxury Barn and Farmhouse can be rented together, with 9 guests in each. Both properties have 4 bedrooms and private hot tubs. Perfect for large family groups or groups of friends. The properties are attached with access through the garden or via the front. Set within 6 acres of natural countryside, Clawdd Offa offers spacious and comfortable family friendly accommodation in the heart of North Wales. The two attached properties have a total of 8 bedrooms - 4 x doubles (3 en-suite), 2 x twins & 2 with triple sleeper bunks. They both have well equipped kitchens and 5 bathrooms between them. - There are Smart TVs in both properties and Freeview TVs in some bedrooms. - We can provide an extra table and chairs for the Barn so all guests can eat together. - Complimentary unlimited wi-fi. - Bath towels and bed linen provided (guests might want to bring their own towels for the hot tubs). - Both properties have woodburners (we include the initial fuel). We are perfectly placed for a trip to Chester Zoo, the historic city of Chester, Cheshire Oaks and all that Cheshire and North Wales has to offer. There is also access to 6 acres of land including a large pond in the grounds. The owner lives nearby and can be contacted at any reasonable time on the phone number provided. Pen-y-Ffordd village is just 1/2 mile away which has a butcher, two small supermarkets and 2 pubs which both do great food or a little bit further afield is Broughton Retail Park with a large supermarket, cinema and shops. We are perfectly placed for a trip to Chester Zoo which is just 20 minutes away. The historic city of Chester, which is only 15 minutes away, is definitely worth an explore - we can highly recommend a walk around the City Walls, visiting Chester Cathedral or finding out about Chester's Roman history followed by something to eat in one of the great pubs or restaurants in Chester! If shopping is more your thing Cheshire Oaks designer outlet is only a short drive away. Clawdd Offa Farm is also the ideal base from which to explore all that North Wales has to offer - Llangollen and the North Wales beaches are only about 30 minutes away or Snowdonia and Anglesey can be reached in less than an hour and a half. We are situated on the Watt's Dyke footpath with walking directly from the doorstep. There is a railway station in Penyffordd with trains into Wrexham, Liverpool and Chester. We also run our business from Clawdd Offa Farm - this is set away from the properties and any vehicle noise will be during working hours.
