A Sweet Spot by the Towpath for Travelers

My home is conveniently by the Metro park towpath where you can hike or bike to get fresh air and enjoy nature. There are many shops to explore nearby. Inside is a cozy place to gather with friends and family to relax or entertain. ** It’s NOT your first class high end luxury top of the line stay, it’s basic, clean & comfortable.** This listing is for a private old blue cottage house suitable for 5 overnight guests. It's the perfect place to stay as you pass through the convenient city of Akron. A cozy home to relax in, and even better for walking down the street for an adventure on the towpath. Guests are welcome to use anything in the house. Mi casa es su casa. Just please be respectful in regards towards neighbors. Treat my house as you would your own, as this is your home for the duration of your stay. Inside is a cozy place to gather with friends and family to relax or entertain. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom, large living room, kitchen, basement, and spacious backyard. The first room is furnished with a queen sized bed and the second room has two single beds, along with the Pack n’ play fold up infant crib (located in the closet). There is a spacious backyard with a trampoline (jump and play at your own risk). Washer and dryer are located in the basement (Low ceiling in basement... watch your head). There are so many shops to explore nearby. It's the best adventure wandering around town. Journey awaits at the Metro park towpath where you can hike or bike to get fresh air and enjoy nature. Other places nearby is the Akron General Hospital, Akron Art Museum, Summit Mall, Cleveland and Canton about 30 mins. Please let me know if you need specific accommodations during your stay. Guests are welcome to use anything in the house, as mi casa es su casa. This space is good for children and adults. However, elderly and those not good with steps should be cautious as you must walk up 5 steps in order to enter the front door. Washer and dryer is located in the basement. Low ceiling in basement, watch your head. There is one bathroom with all the essentials. The living room is spacious and perfect for hanging out. The kitchen is a unique set up, but has all the capabilities for creating delicious meals. I live nearby and can provide assistance for any requests. Please contact me through the Airbnb application message center. The best part about this great house is being conveniently close to everything! When staying here, I love that I can walk my dog to the towpath and complete my journey with a walk to get a root beer float at the hot dog eatery. I love the towpath because it leads to summit lake where one can go fishing with friends and family. Being close to major highway intersections makes it easy to commute and travel. Located near major highway intersections (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) & route 8. Close to Akron University, Firestone, Akron Art Museum, libraries, and much more. Akron is located in between popular cities, Cleveland (35 mins away) and Canton (25 mins away). On the Bus Route. Walking distance to Ohio metro parks towpath and summit lake. It is near Firestone park and the Ohio metro park towpath. Walking distance to bar, tobacco shop, hot dog eatery. Less than a mile to BP and Circle K gas station, bars, liquor store (Leprechaun Liquor and the Brew Thru) , Marcos pizza, showcase meats, tattoo shops, spin-n-win tap tap, dog groomers, church, salon and spas, and much more. ***This is Akron, OH so if you are looking for fancy living, high class lifestyle, and top of the line amenities then this is NOT the place for you. If you are bougie please do not stay here, I suggest a suburb somewhere else. Thanks for understanding that my home is in a low wage neighborhood and not suitable for upper class families that are in town visiting their rich stuck up in-laws. *** Happy Travels! Walk or Bike (across the street from towpath). Personal car, Uber/Lyft, and conveniently on Akron’s bus route. The neighbors are outgoing and appreciate a friendly wave hello. Please remember that the driveway is shared. From standing on the street facing the house the shared driveway is located on the right side of the house. It is shared with the neighbors who live on the right hand side (the large light blue house with the white SUV), so please stay on the left hand side of the driveway. Feel free to drive all the way to the end of the driveway pass the end of the house to maximize parking spaces.
