A slice of Medieval History! Stay in our 15th Century Tudor Mansion, the rumoured meeting place of King Henry VIII and Anne of Cleves! Located in the heart of Historic Rochester, next door to Rochester Castle and Cathedral, the 2nd oldest in England! Enjoy all that this wonderful town has to offer, from walks along the Esplanade and discovering the delights of Rochester High Street to the lively Dickensian festivals held twice a year. High-speed links to London or short drive to the Coast Our home has an abundance of quirky original features, including exposed Oak beams, fireplaces, lattice stained glass windows as well as hidden priest holes! We have a variety of unique rooms available, all with coffee makers and bathrobes provided. Two of the rooms have on-suites, one with a bath. The remaining rooms share a large shower room. In the garden, you can enjoy a barbecue using the Big Green Egg. There is also an outdoor wood burning sauna and pool available for guests to use. The house is also home to our pond fish and Bearded Dragon, Diego. Diego is quiet and enjoys sleeping most of the time as he is old, so don't worry if hasn't moved all day! The drive can fit 3 family sized cars or 4 smaller cars. We are 3 minute walking distance from Rochester High Street. You can reach London via the high-speed train to St.Pancras in 35 minutes. It is a very safe neighbourhood with an abundance of historical buildings to visit. The house has a Grade II listed status, with single glazed windows, hence it gets cold and drafty in the winter, so please do pack accordingly. This house has multiple sets of stairs and is not wheelchair accessible.
