This cottage is a perfect base for your stay on the stunning Berwickshire coast. Easy access to Edinburgh, East Lothian and Nothumberland. Ideal for those looking to relax or those wanting to explore the exciting activities available nearby. There are two lively pubs here along with a fish and chip shop, as well as a village shop for convenience shopping just a few doors down. Coldingham Priory Church - just a couple of minutes walk away is perfect for exploring 700 years of fascinating history. Take a walk and enjoy the nature at the nearby Scottish National Trust reserve. Afterwards you can stop off at St. Abbs harbour for a well deserved crab sandwich or cullen skink. Boat trips around the coast and exhilarating rides in a high-powered RIB can also be taken from here. Eyemouth (3 miles) has been a fishing port since the 13th Century. Buy your fresh fish from the many fish mongers and further provisions from the local supermarket. The stunning East Berwickshire coastline also provides superb walks. The area is a wonderful source of inspiration for art lovers where you will be drawn to the shifting colours of the seascape and can enjoy happy afternoons browsing pretty local galleries around this area. The area is served by local bus routes to and from the Rail station at Berwick-upon-Tweed on the East coast line between Edinburgh and Newcastle. Coldingham is situated 2 miles east from the A1.
