Cosy Shepherds Hut, rural location near Tenbury

Traditional wooden Shepherds Hut in beautiful rural location with a wood burner, one double bed, and kitchenette with sink and granite work top. Private shower room with toilet in main house a short walk from hut. We are situated in Worcestershire on the borders of Herefordshire and Shropshire. You can explore the surrounding countryside or take a drive to the top of Clee Hill to enjoy the magnificent views of the three counties. We are close to the historic town of Ludlow and the Shropshire hills, and just 3 miles from Tenbury Wells. There are many pubs and restaurants within 2 to 3 miles, and National Trust properties close by. Also you can walk local footpaths in the area. We have a large unmanicured! garden and orchards in which guests can take a leisurely stroll. Exact location information is provided after a booking is confirmed. AMENITIES There is a double futon sofa type bed and electricity in the hut, with a kettle, toaster and a mini larder fridge. Teas and coffee making facilities provided . Simple “do it yourself” breakfasts supplied in hut (cereals, toast and fresh fruit). There are plates, cutlery etc. There are no cooking facilities, but a barbecue is available and a fire pit with grill outside. Due to covid restrictions and for your own health and safety benefits, we would be grateful if you would bring your own towels and bedding. You also might like to bring sleeping bags for the cool nights. There are blankets available if needed. OBSERVATION Flat shoes and wellies advisable for when it’s wet. Sorry, no dogs and pets allowed. You may like to bring a torch with you but we can provide one, should you forget. Garden and orchards There is space available to pitch a 2 person tent for an extra £15 /night if you need more space, or just want to sleep under the stars and enjoy the surrounding nature. You will need a car as nearest town is 3 miles away, and no public transport is available in the area.
