Katinas apartment with spectacular view 3

Our apartments are very well equipped, modern, simple and handy. You can find all you need to feel comfortable and relax. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. You can see the high mountain with the small villages on it lighting up in the dark. In front of you is a blue sea over what you can see some small islands like Samiopoula, Patmos, Lipsi and Fourni. On the right side there are the red rooftops of Marathokampos and Kerkis mountain that is over 1400 m hight. The house meets all modern requirements. The furnishing of the apartments is standard, clean and functional. The beds are comfortable, kitchens are fully equipped to cook your own meal if necessary. All the apartments have a spectacular view, that you never get tired of. The environment is calm and quiet as the place is located at the beginning of the village. The host is available all the time to answer any questions you might have and give you the advice you need. The host him self lives across the street, on summertime 4 km away. Marathokampos is the biggest village in this area. Around 1100 people live here all year around. There are few bars and cafeterias and shops for all your needs. Also a medical services and a pharmacy. There are around 7 churches and even two monasteries. The streets of Marathokampos are very interesting. Narrow paths make you get lost easily and often they turn in to stairs. There is always a way even if you think the street ends, actually another way to get somewhere appears. Walks in the village are very joyful and full of nice surprises as you never know, where you end up to. At the same time its small enough not to be worried about getting lost compleately or finding your self too far from where you started. The village is approximately 250 m up from the sea level and offers spectacular views when you walk around. As its full of locals, its very authentic and surely very pleasant for a greeklover. There are not many tourists around, so you can feel and see the local lifestyle as you have never seen it before. The sea side is 4 km away. In 10 minutes you can drive to many different beathiful beaches that are in the area. Also the famous cave on Pythagoras is in 4km distance. There is a bus connection to get around, but I would suggest to rent a car, as public transportation is not too good on Samos. There are also taxis available all the time. For hikers it`s a perfect place, as there are many footpaths to different locations and also different hiking roads. Ask about transportation to and from the port or airport!!!
