Corona-free log cabin in backyard

Independent living space with its own entrance and key box, minimizing the risk of contamination. The log cabin stands in a lush garden and is fully equipped. You have access to a living room / kitchen, a private bathroom, a bedroom and on the outside 2 porches (on the south and west side) with garden chairs. The porch on the west side has terrace heating. The terrace on the south side has a fireplace. The garden is undergoing a transformation into a food forest. All shrubs, trees and other plants are edible in a food forest. In the long term, a food forest also attracts more birds, bees, butterflies and other animals. You will be awakened with bird sounds and surrounded by buzzing bees and butterflies. You are welcome to bring a quiet musical instrument (eg guitar or harmonica) to play outside by the fireplace. You have the log cabin for yourself. The log cabin has its own entrance. The cabin is there just for you, all private. We will be there to inform you about nice places or events to visit or about our food forest in progress. Valkenswaard lies in the middle of the Groote Heide, an area of 6,000 hectares of forests, fens and heaths, so wonderfully endless wandering. And maybe you come across wild boar or a deer. But also canoeing on the Dommel with a Trappist on the waterfront or an escape room game in a former bunker are recommended. Within 1 kilometre you will find a completely renovated indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a squash / fitness / tennis hall and outdoor tennis courts, hockey, football, rugby, 2 golf courses, shopping centre and many bars and restaurants. In the season you can ski on a covered ski slope. Valkenswaard is also famous for, among other things, the cycling and motocross events at the Euro Circuit, the international equestrian events at Tops International Arena, the Ameezing music festival and the Pentecost ride with old carriages in the Pentecost weekend, the fair in the first week of the summer vacation and the annual carnival. We are a 20-minute drive from Eindhoven Airport as well as from Eindhoven centre with events such as Glow, Dutch Design Week and the Feel Good Market. Our cosy log cabin is also a wonderfully quiet place for those who work temporarily on the High Tech Campus Eindhoven and want to escape the hectic pace of the city. The bus stop to Eindhoven is a 5-minute walk away. The fast bike path through the woods (the so-called green corridor) to High Tech Campus Eindhoven starts around the corner from us. And of course the endless cycling and hiking trails in the entire area. Bicycles can be rented in the area. If you come with an electric car, our charging facility is at your disposal. Note: the charger has a fixed cable and works with a charging pass.
