In order to protect our guests the best that we can from Covid 19, all our caravans will be cleaned and sterilised thoroughly between lets. Our 2018 Swift Bordeaux prestige caravan sleeps 6 to a high degree of luxury. Located with magnificent views over Chesil Beach and Lyme Bay to east Devon. Why not let us help you celebrate that special occasion by providing champagne, chocolates etc. for a nominal extra cost. Our Prestige caravan sleeps 6 to a high degree of luxury, it is double glazed and centrally heated so why not stay for early or late season breaks as well as that restful time during the summer. Free WiFi is available. The lounge has 2 large comfortable sofas. We have a fully equipped kitchen including a full size fridge-freezer, gas cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle. Our wrap-a-round veranda gives you plenty of space to enjoy the sun during the day and the beautiful sunsets in the evening from one of the best view points on the site, high above the other caravans. You can see right across Chesil Beach and far off into the West Country. You can eat al fresco, either on the veranda or next to our caravan at our wooden picnic bench. There are three bedrooms, one master en-suite double and two twin bedrooms so that we can sleep six easily. We can also supply two cots and high chairs. If you want to stay in for the evening, you can use our 32” television and DVD player, we have a selection of DVDs that you can watch. The master bedroom also has a 24” TV. The whole caravan, with the possibility of accessing the facilities of one of the top rated Littlesea Haven Holiday site but at an extra cost, payable to Littlesea Park. Indoor Park facilities include swimming pools to suit all ages, a bar/restaurant and a show bar which provides frequent entertainment for both adults and children and a soft play area. Outside there are are a number of play areas away from traffic and various sports facilities. There is also a self service laundry on site in addition to a Starbucks cafe, a Mini-Market and a Fish and Chip shop; no passes are needed to use these. We like to meet and greet all our guests, make sure that they have everything that they were expecting, and perhaps a little more, answer any questions that they may have and give suggestions of places that they may be interested in or help with directions to places of interest, bus routes etc. We live locally and can help at any time if needed, but otherwise we leave our guests in peace until check-out, when we pop round to say goodbye. The famous sandy beach of Weymouth is just a short bus ride away, on the Littlesea dedicated hourly bus service. Here your children can play in the sand, build sandcastles and take a ride on the friendly donkeys. The town services are just a 2 min walk away from the beach. The town hosted the 2012 Olympic sailing and you can visit the sites and take a trip up the new observation tower for a spectacular view across the Jurassic coastline as the platform spins slowly through 360°. Alternatively you can take a walk back in time along the picturesque and working harbour. Just a half hour drive to the West takes you to the world-famous Abbotsbury subtropical gardens Children's Farm and Swannery, whilst to the East takes you to the world-famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum. There are buses which will take you from the site to all of these locations during the summer months. If you wish to venture further west in search of fossils, Lyme Regis makes for a great day out. If you prefer walking, the spectacular South West Coast footpath runs right through the site and it is easy to stroll along the coast in either direction and get lost in nature as the waves wash against the Chesil bank. Directly behind our caravan is a woodland in which the Site Ranger regularly takes guided walks for children. At night, you can watch the badgers come out to play and in the early morning, deer can be seen grazing in the nearby field. An hourly bus service (502) links the site with the town centre of Weymouth and hence the main rail links to the rest of the UK. The new X55 service goes from Littlesea to Weymouth and then to Lulworth Cove and Bovington Tank Museum. There is also a summer service - the 'Slow Coaster', which takes you from Weymouth, around Portland and along the picturesque route past Abbotsbury to West Bay (of Broadchurch fame) and Bridport. Littlesea is one of the highest rated sites run by Haven and is fully equipped with amenities and activities to keep you and your children happy for hours. You can swim in either one of the two indoor or the outdoor pools, as well as participate in the water-sport activities that are organised every day. There is also a fun pool for the little ones. You can use the all-weather sports pitches, as well as roller blading, archery, tennis and many other activities. For Mums and Dads there is an excellent Show bar with exciting and glamorous evening entertainment. The kids can be happy here too with many early evening activities complete with cartoon characters on show. The restaurant caters for all tastes at a very reasonable price. These amenities are accessible with a Haven club pass which is available from the main reception upon arrival for an additional charge. For those who want to cater for themselves there is a Mini-Market which caters for most of your needs at reasonable prices, a fish and chip takeaway and Papa Johns Pizza, which also offers delivery to your caravan. For those who just want to sit back and relax, why not visit the Starbucks coffee shop which also has free wifi. Passes are not required to access these. The Weymouth Beach is a fantastic beach for children - shallow water, sand for castle building along with many of the old traditions of beach holidays - Punch and Judy, Donkey Rides etc It is a very long beach and even on the busiest of days there is plenty of space for everyone, both in and out of the water.
