The Cottage at Whites Farm
Private sunny (Fraemer) cottage, 2 bedrooms (both have queen size beds), on a small farm, parking, internet. Mandaville shops (5 mins drive) - Indian, Thai, fish n chips, bar and restaurant; Rangiora & wineries nearby, Airport 15 mins, Christchurch City 15 mins away. We have calves and cows, and a dog, Olive; children and dogs need to be supervised and have fun, ** please let us know if you are bringing a dog, quiet, warm, cosy, and peaceful. two bedrooms - both have queen size beds. We can offer bedding for 3 seater couch in lounge if requested. Parking is on the left hand side of main garage, space under trees on grassy space. Open the metal gate, and walk to a small wooden brown gate at the right hand side of the barn. This is your entrance. Follow the path and you will see the cottage. Sliding door on veranda is the entrance to living room. Key is on table, leave there when leaving. Tiny, quiet and historic town, Ohoka has a small church, hall, school, and many small farms. Fridays is market day, at the end of our road in the town gardens. a car is needed, very limited public transport, one bus in to Christchurch each morning at 730 am and one back at 330pm, not on weekends Please keep the main gates closed at the street entrance, so cows can’t escape. Rule of thumb for farming - keep all internal gates closed. Only toilet paper down the toilet (Septic Tank). Internet code is on wall torch on bookcase linen & towels in laundry vacuum & ironing board in wardrobe TV main channels - hold remote button on for a few seconds recycling – yellow bin at back door for glass & plastic green container next to stove / fridge for composting (organic) Chickens – love bread and leftovers Washing machine and clothes line Mandeville shops, restaurants & supermarket 5 mins away log burner for use April – September Check out by 11am please
